Woozie and Toreno are my favourite character. Just imagine that you befriending someone who is a triad leader and humble in many ways and another one is a government agent that able to attract your attention with his only his personality and deep secret.
I'd have liked it if Woozie wasn't actually blind but pretended to be to see if Carl could be trustworthy and honest with him even when it appeared everyone around him wasn't. And the stuff like golf and the blackjack was him testing Carl's honesty.
Woozie is a very benevolent boss as he cares about loyality and looks after those who helped him. CJ meeting Woozie helped CJ get back on track. A blessing for CJ
