    Very nice tutorial! What about exposing for dlog? Do you expose to the right or centered white the instogram?

    • @videofeaver
      @videofeaver  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment. I try to overexpose my footage a bit. By about 0.5 stops. That’s seams to get the best colours. But it’s a lovely log profile with lots a room to fix over/under exposed issues. As long as it’s not too far out you should be happy with the results

    Been flying only 9 months and just now looking at shooting in D-Log. This was super helpful, thanks! Now, if the weather would calm down a bit, I'll get out there and do some trials.

    When you looked at the final clip on the scope after pasting your initial corrections and it was way over 100, is that an indication you should have used a stronger ND filter for that shot? It seemed like even after the correction the sky was pretty washed out.
    Super great info though and thanks for sharing!

    The official D-LOG to Rec.709 LUT from DJI doesn't work in Premiere at all, it refuses to load, so I had to use yours. I'm hoping it's roughly the same. Thank you.

    Difference between white and highlights
    Shadows and blacks
    Why don't u reduce the shadows all the way down instead of playing with both shadows and blacks
    It seemed to me both options were brining down the lum. Scope down to zero !.. so what's difference between both ?!...
