DePaul at Notre Dame 1988

DePaul at Notre Dame 1/16/1988. Digger Phelps vs. Joey Meyer. Rod Strickland vs. David Rivers. Kevin Edwards, Stanley Brundy, Kevin Golden, Terrence Greene, Kevin Holland, Charles Sowell. ND led by Rivers, Gary Voce, Scott Paddock, and Jamere Jackson. Strickland and Edwards would be back to back 1st round NBA draft picks after this season. Rivers would also be drafted in the first round. My most memorable moment from this game was Coach Phelps and DePaul assistant coach Jim Molinari in a heated shouting match with each other as DePaul was boarding their bus to go home after the game. Digger wasn't happy that this was the game that Strickland returned to the team after a short suspension. Fun times :)
