Saw Adele open for Etta James at the Hollywood Bowl in 2009. She was so new and so humble and so genuinely excited. She got her cell phone out between songs and called her mom live back in London. She was so giddy, it was great. This is such an awesome song, too. Been listening to it a lot recently, after losing my gf. Etta James ended up getting sick, and Chaka Khan substituted at the last minute. She was awesome, even at age 70+.
I saw her live in Toronto in October of 2016. The most phenomenal performance I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. She was so personable, chatting to the audience with that trademark wit of hers. Somehow, the potty mouth just adds to her charm!

I don't listen to this type of music but the first time I heard Adele sing, I was hooked!! She is phenomenal!!! Beautiful & absolutely amazing voice!! I got chills too when she sings!!!

Saw Adele open for Etta James at the Hollywood Bowl in 2009. She was so new and so humble and so genuinely excited. She got her cell phone out between songs and called her mom live back in London. She was so giddy, it was great. This is such an awesome song, too. Been listening to it a lot recently, after losing my gf.
Etta James ended up getting sick, and Chaka Khan substituted at the last minute. She was awesome, even at age 70+.
Adele came from Brit School in London - the same year as Amy Winehouse.

I saw her live in Toronto in October of 2016. The most phenomenal performance I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. She was so personable, chatting to the audience with that trademark wit of hers. Somehow, the potty mouth just adds to her charm!

I love this song and she is a huge inspiration for me. She was a chubby woman with an amazing voice where people loved her the more she gained/shifted weight. Now she's been forced to lose it all to keep her job. She was an inspiration for me to lose my weight. I'm half way there. She IS a music goddess.
No one should have to Lose weight to keep their job. That’s fatphobic bigotry and discrimination. You can’t tell a person’s health or well being by their size. My cousin is super skinny and smokes two packs a day to stay that way- is that healthy? She has to because most people can’t sustain weight loss due to their metabolisms slowing down from extreme food restriction.

I'm sure you're not gonna see this, but my favorite of Adele's is one of her early songs, called "Make You Feel My Love." It's actually written by Bob Dylan from years ago, but her rendition literally brings me to tears. It's gorgeous, the writing and the singing.
