I used th-cam.com/users/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell
The Milwaukee "sharpies", markzall?, are incredible. I carry one with me every day. I can use it to label stuff, create a guide coat for scribing metal, etc. Very durable too.
I use the cheaper Eubauer angled impact adapter from Screwfix, its in fairly regular use when doing kitchens and bathrooms, 3yrs on and it still works great. Before you kick off people, I'm a Milwaukee user👍. Would be nice if Milwaukee was the same price as in the US, it would make the Packout system more affordable.
The only thing I would disagree with is the switchblade. You can drill more holes without sharpening or replacing with the older milwaukee self feeders. The switchblade is made with a softer metal which dulls quickly. Can't do an entire house on one blade. Old school self feeders can do up to 10 houses before sharping.
As a contractor, I used sub par tools for years. I finally started experimenting with different brands about 5 years ago. Milwaukee came out on top in almost every area of use. With the exception of my lifetime warrantied Rigid power tools that I use solely for wet plumbing(so I can warranty them out if needed), I’ve phased out almost everything that isn’t Milwaukee in mine and my guys sets. Excellent tools and their warranty hasn’t let me down yet.
I was a plumber, and yeah, no other tool system could cope with the environment, bit like these are the toyota of the tool world though, some of the stuff isnt best oerforming, but it doesnt seem to fall apart.. only regretted tool ive aquired is the 12v pipe cutter, it cuts refrigeration pipe (the soft drawn) but barely scratches the plumbing pipe, which was why i got it. When i think of a solution to that it will redeem itself.
For the right angle attachment, they have a better version, I dont know part number off the top of my head, but its MUCH better. The problem with the one shown is the torque loss in the gears, but the better one (Last I checked was in the $60 US range) has minimal torque loss and it feels of much higher quality!
That last one would be great for a mechanic and getting into a tighter spot just has to be a strong impact since I would imagine it loses a lot of torque through the tool
I love milwaukee stuff but I bought the small holesaw set and I was very disappointed. Didn't last long and the attachment was a pain in the neck to take out. It got really tight, needed a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench to take it out. Like better the Diablo set.
I like proper screwdriver bits as I keep snapping him when I'm doing it with the impactor and the ones I've used off the internet are ok but I will give yours a go when I get over to you but if you use a larger hole saw and a small one at the end it would create a good whole when you are increasing light sizes so you going from 12 ml to 32 ml downlighters have a fabulous Christmas and a Happy New Year
Thanks Sparky 💪🏼 massive difference in proper bits compared to standard ones. Don’t get me wrong, they can still break and wear if not used correctly 👍🏼
At 4.49 the grinder nuts makes me go nutssss i want them so bad. Earlier today i've struggle to remove it from an Ingersol Rand wheel cutter hahahahahahahahahah
You won’t need to as the recesses are different and don’t buy cheap flap discs! Buy Milwaukee flap discs, they are not expensive and they don’t fall apart 😂😂
My AEG grinder came stock with the fancy flip Tek nut, it's a piece of shit, swapped it for a standard one. You lose the second hub centering feature when using one that the normal 2 sided nuts have. I have never needed the spanner with it anyway, they always are hand tight so the flip Tek is pointless and less practical.
Im a roofer and used to use my milwaukee shears every day. Had to replace shears recently and boy what a let down. Old milwaukee shears were great. New 1s are so ahit i cant even use iffcuts to scribe with. Off cuts have more hooks than a deepwater longline. Absolute garbage
question i moved and want to remodel and fill garage with tools what you thinking on price and everything from engineering to working on cars to woodworking
Also does he have a fake milwaukee grinder? I've bought 3 in the last 5 years from milwaukee and non of them looked even close to the one he has, also I'm in home depot like at least once a week and I've never seen a grinder like that I have seen ones like that in wish/bs china sites, for $4.99 guaranteed Miilukee Touls Made In the United Stacks of Armenia.
It’s not that unfortunately Tony. The reason is the smaller retailers have to pay more for them from Milwaukee in the first place. Example as a retailer If you buy 1 drill from them, they cost 100 If you buy 10 drills from them, they cost 90 If you buy 25 drills from them, they cost 80 If you buy 100 drills from them, they cost 60 The small retailers can’t afford to buy 100 at a time, where as the big retailer can. So both the retailers add on 20 mark up on the product The small retailer bought them at 90 so is selling for 110 The large retailer brought them at 60 so is selling for 80 Both are making the same amount of money. My point is that it should be a level playing field for all sellers. This would increase the amount of places where it is stocked and then more people would see it, increasing brand awareness.
Hey machinery I bought a Milwaukee 3/8 ratchet and it’s only been a year but they won’t contact me back about warranty. It occasionally will just not tighten even bolts I can thread in by hand like it’s slipping. What should I do?
If I’m the U.K. you need to contact CJ Sinclair as they handle all Milwaukee warranties. Outside of the U.K. you will have to find out who do it. Hope this helps

Oh, that's sad. I've been switching to Milwaukee over the past year, knowing that it's all made in China like everything, but still U.S. owned. But I guess not.
For God sake people, tell milwaukee to stop filling the landfills with cases we can't and do t use because we now use the packout which helps us organize and stack our tools which is convenient, so why the he'll milwaukee just do not pack all their tools and accessories in packout cases from small to medium to large case it serves the same purpose but helps us . All these cases we no.longer use ends up destroying the the landfill because it takes thousands of yrs to break down if at all.

The carbide big hawg hole saws cut through wood amazingly fast compared to the hole dozers.

Homedepot Milwaukee tools are cheaper there because the smaller retailer’s mark them up like crazy
It’s not that unfortunately Tony. The reason is the smaller retailers have to pay more for them from Milwaukee in the first place. Example as a retailer
