Thank you so much for this video. I wasn't given a manual OR a demonstration of this unit, I just discovered that it was wrongly wired in too which is why I've never been able to run just hot water with no heating unless I used the immersion heater! My programmer was placed on the wall at the side of the hot water tank so it's unfortunately not only pretty dark but it's hard to see the display and almost impossible to read the writing at the side of the switches. This is a very clear, understandable guide to what the switches are, how to use them and how to skip the 3rd time period during the day and just have morning & evening heating. Honeywell no longer even carry the print version of this programmer so your guide is brilliant for anyone who inherited this unit with their new home. Thanks again.

Since this has unique bars for hot water and heating, is it actualy better than the newer 9400c as you can quickly switch off the heating or water individually with the 6400c?

Easy to install timer box over timer backplate - 2 minor screws - push down and lift up to remove box from backplate. Save yourself money (its all of 10secs work - i wasnt happy when electrican did that and charged me £75)
