Hello! 👏 My name is Ellie Keyes and I’m sharing in these videos about the basics, the practical and the inspirational of homeschooling for Australians! When I first started my journey a few years ago there was nothing out there that could really support my journey and help me understand what I am supposed to do in each aspect of homeschooling. I found a lot of helpful American content which has its limits for us Aussie mums. 🦘

I am taking you guys on a look through of the NSW Gov Guidelines Document for Homeschooling. Firstly to help make finding it and navigating through it simpler and also to share the main requirements for Homeschooling in this state and also the main things you will need for registration!
I am no expert, but I do have the heart to share whatever I can to journey alongside you all, inspire each other and share a few practical tips that I have learnt along the way. ❤️

My husband and I are pursuing a homesteading lifestyle as we learn this new way of living on 40acres inland of NSW after a big move away from the city and beach. We have four beautiful children ages 6, 4, 2 and 8 months.

She seemed lovely. I showed her my daughter’s work. We are going with Euka. So I logged in to show her that. She asked us if we had any questions. And that was it. 5minute visit. I guess she will be registered soon.

@@lisamarie2879 oh wow thats amazing. Honestly each time I hear stories from other mums, and my own experience, they are always very relaxed about it. I think as long as we have a program or intensional curriculum for maths and english they are very accepting. So glad it worked out for you!
