The Kings became the enemy after this - as much or more than the Flames were at the time. The Oilers would win the fifth Cup a few months after this game, easily beating the Kings along the way. And these Oilers would be the Kings in two more playoff series after that (1991 and 1992). Those series wins were very much rooted in what happened in this game and this season.
