wow brings back some memory's - I visited in the late 70's looking for the peaks 1 to 10, being young and naïve I should have realised they were all out on freight duty. still copped plenty of 20's ,25's and 47's that we never saw down southgreat video
Glad it brought back some memories. The Midlands and Derby were certainly a hive of loco activity back in those days, but it's a little bit quieter these days.
Great video Darren. Such a variety. Great to see 58's trundling around, my favourite HST livery (Intercity Swallow), Oystermouth, now departed, and amazing to see how much Toton has changed (even without the locomotive changes) between your video and my visit there this summer. Would love to turn the clock back and see it all again!
Brilliant video used to got there to see the 56s from Cardiff go through most of them were named and to see which 47s were on the post trains good memories nice one.
Very good video Darren. Toton and the loco's on the depot looked so pristine compared to what it's like now, one of the sad things about privatisation in that it's lead to the state that it is in now I suppose. Nice to see the variety of workings at Derby too, I don't think Derby Station has seen action quite like that for quite a few years!
Great video thank you very much. I really enjoyed it. So many happy memories 👍
Thanks for posting brings back such good memories . I had almost forgot Derby was so busy at times .

45015 still "survives" today, preserved at the Shackerstone Railway - although it's half in a large bush last photo I saw of it!
