Looks like your day would have been a lot easier if everyone was running 15 to 18 psi instead of road pressures. Low tire pressures make a huge difference.
Yes totally agree here alot of the guys never air down I always make sure everyone’s dropped the pressures before we start!! Makes hell of a difference 😎👍👍
This is a great complication - must have taken hours to put it all together. For anyone off roading for the first time, this is good to watch: to understand how you can get into difficulty, (2) to see how to use winches effectively. Great channel, even though I don’t off road anymore!!
Morning Andy! Thanks for that comment and welcome to the channel plenty of good vids to watch here! Thus vid just goes to show even the pros can get in a pickle sometimes!! 😎👍
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I used to play the same and earned $$$$ repair costs and remote recoveries a couple of times. Then TH-cam came and enabled us to have more fun and less expense by watching others play stupid games. Bless the TH-cam.
you'd think off roaders would put a clip somewhere higher up for a rope or whinch cable to just park for when they going through deep water so if the vehicle does get stuck its way easier to pull it off the clip and attach it to the tow vehicle, the rope / winch would obviously be secured to the chassis, the grille or bonnet clip is just to park it for easy access
Yep, used to do that sort of stuff, including storage for the winch rope. Most of the rope would be on the drum and 20ft would be payed out ready to go. :o)
Una salida muy técnica y con mucho riesgo de rotura. Gracias por compartir. / Une sortie très technique avec beaucoup de risques de casse. Merci du partage.
Only recently found your Channel - some great videos and commentary. Nice to see some Decent driving too not just people aiming at an obstacle and flooring it ripping everything up and spraying mud everywhere. Great selection of vehicles too - die hard Landy fan so bombers 90 would be my choice….plus the supercharged rangie from The other video. Nice 👍🏻
Hi Ben glad you found us!! We have regular videos always out on new adventures!! So plenty great footage for you guys to enjoy!! Thanks for the excellent comment I really appreciate that!! Enjoy the channel 😎👍 (ad) 👍
Haha It’s crazy to think some vehicles don’t have a factory difflock or traction control system we’ve had a few vehicles come out and not have any of these and then get in a right pickle 🤦♂️😬😬😬😂😂
@@richardlawton8986 Brilliant, so glad you have a good humour. In the great freeze up of 2010 all my neighbours were housebound for a week, but I had a Golf R32 with winter tyres, it was amazing, went anywhere, probably a bit low slung to join you guys…..
Life’s to short to be serious all good to have humour and a laugh! 😉😎 we recently had a Audi allroad Quattro out with us that did really well sure you’ve seen the vid??.😎👍
Haha very true that! We’re very lucky to have the tracks that we’ve got they closed loads down in 2006 but we still find loads good routes people don’t use or forgotten tracks that get washed out or overgrown!! Hope you enjoy the channel Plenty good vids on here!!
@@ALL_4_WHEELS 😂 you should make another compilation of them! It’s good though, it’s not about being entertained by someone else’s misfortune, honest 🤭. It just shows that things can’t always go to plan when there are so many variables.
Considering these are 'stock' vehicles with appalling approach & departure angles, not to mention weight, I think they've done pretty good. Where is 'Dunlop Hill'? If I ever get my RR based special finished I'd like to give it a go....
A Range Rover special! Come on down! Show you some good places you could take that! Dunlop hill is in brechfa Carmathenshire drop me a message over instagram plan a day!
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Not sure what causes it but I've seen quite a few Discos blow diffs. I've been told It's the TC system creating shock loads but I wouldn't have thought that the brakes would have the power to do that. From what I've seen it seems to be when a wheel spins with very aggressive tyres where each lug on the tyre grips and then slips causing sudden shock loads.
@keithrushforth4019 tiny axels for the size of the disco they have very skinny axels running anything from 35-37’s aggressive mud terrains + is just a shaft breaker!
@keithrushforth4019 it's not having CDL. To much stress is put on the half-shafts/diffs by big tyres a having to boot it to get the TC system to cut in. That was a d1 with a blown clutch/diff so suspect the pilot is the problem not the car.
I believe the driver went all the way up that mega steep hill in high box only and blew everything up the other guys blew there diffs trying to turn around to get back down 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@4x4daily602 bit of a road trip haha! Wow nice to have fans watching all away across the world! Our stuff is probably very lame compared to what you have over there!! Enjoy the vids 😎👍
@@ALL_4_WHEELS well no but with that in mind your not using most of those vehicles for what they really left the factory for, putting yourselves in harms way by not having the right kit tbh, take the series 1 hanging off a cliff, axel locks 1st low range would pass up that hill and he wouldn't have been nearly dead, fo4 the price, at least the rear axel having one is a must if your do it more than a couple times a year.
Yeah agree with you there the series has one not 100% sure what really happened as we was in front until I heard on the radio he nearly went over the embankment they just regraded that track was very loose and not compacted down there believe it’s caught out quite a few vehicles recently! 😎👍
Haha our very own uk camel trophy!! 😂😂👌 I wish they would bring back the camel trophy but don’t think any of the latest land rovers are tough enough Pugh or would even last!!

Found the guy with the air gauge on his screen
I have been off-roading/green laning for 25 years, and have never met anybody who 'airs down' tyres. Technique, and experience always wins the day.
If you get stuck off reading in England you can always walk to the nearest cafe to get help
@dantownsend4246 haha thanks for the tip! 👍👍👍😉
Fair play to that great wall steed, and being driven like that. Did rather well.
Just a bunch of lads living their best life
That’s what it’s all about!! 😉👍👍👍😎

imagine if they had locking diffs

@ALL_4_WHEELS ye diff locks are really important if you doing some serious offloading haha
Amazing how true to life ‘the fast show was’
😂 showing your age, let’s off road!

Haha I think the boys need them! We’re off on Saturday making the Christmas special vid so look out for that one soon!! 😎🤘🤘 enjoy the vids
I’ve seen dryer otters pockets than this lane day mate! Haha great video!
Love that comment haha! We always seem to find water wherever we go haha!! 😎👍
Land Rover:✅
Completely stock with bald stock tires:✅
Still attempting to off road it: Priceless
Haha 😂😂😂👍
Just goes to show a long wheelbase with a long rear overhang does not make a good off roader. Its bad enough with a Defender 110!
I'm actually surprised this is in the uk. Normally the uk makes anything fun illegal. I'm surprised they haven't tried to ban it yet.

Plenty good vids on here!!
Now I know why I always preferred my horse. Much more ground clearance, 4 hoof drive, auto lock diffs and could even swim if necessary 😊.
Haha that’s definitely the perfect work horse! 😉😎👍
It's great to see not all 4x4 are invisible off road
Yeah we’re all human and even the best of us can get it wrong sometimes haha! Thanks for watching enjoy all the vids 😎🤘🤘
🤫 🤐🤣🤣🤣🤣
Use to love the off road world my dad has a series 2a with a 2.5 land cruiser motor in it and running ply tyres absolutely awesome time
That’s awesome memories!! Thanks for finding the channel hope you enjoy it!! 😎👍
Great Vid lads
Cheers Ian 😎👍👍
Nice bit of recovery right there😊😊😊
Cheers Stephen! 😎👍 🍻
This is what happens when you off road with street tyres, low pressure or not.
Yeah totally agree with you! The guys definitely need to start airing down more and use proper mud terrain tyres!! 😎👍
Goes to show, even the pros struggle sometimes 😅

Great videos…where are you guys based ?would love to come out for a day with you guys .Subscribed
Hey bud your more than welcome to join us we are based around Carmarthen
Happy to show you around thanks for subscribing appreciate it!! 😎👌👌
All of these Fails could have been avoided, but they FAILED to install diff locks!
😆😆😆😆😂😂😂😎👍
Just remember,if the alternator of your vehicle is covered in water ,the engine will not run .snorkel or not.
That’s a good point! 😎👍
That red disco took on water in the ecu wouldn’t start fit ages trying to dry it out then had 3 hour drive back home 30mph the whole way 😬🤦♂️🤦♂️

@@ALL_4_WHEELS That's the plan but I've got to finish building it first! Bodywork is completely bespoke and it's a long process...
Let me know when you’re ready and we’ll plan a day out!
It seems "One wheel in the ditch 4x4" were quite aptly named that day. 😀
😆😆😆😂😂 yeah sound group of guys that was a day to remember we was trapped in the middle of two groups who both blew diffs on discos haha

Those cars + tyres + terrain = torture. Poor cars. If you are serious with that, get old Patrol
Now that would be the vehicle of choice🤘😎👍
Good stuff, but please stop standing near winch cables/recovery straps/shackles/blocks that are under tension.
At we have this is a compilation from all our vids from a while back 😎👍👍👍
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Glad to hear it.
@Coxy002605 all part of the fun driving the tracks but learning self recovery or helping recovering others is a ongoing learning curve 😉😎🤘🤘
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Absolutely - navigation, driving skill, mechanics/electrics, teamwork, leadership, communication, judging risk, etc. - lots going on, lots to learn!

My land cruiser would cruise threw these 😂
Would love to see a Land Cruiser out with us one day!!! 👌👌

Nice video, the lesson I’ve learned is don’t buy a Chinese pick up truck (not that I had any intention 😂).
😆😭😭😭😎👍
There's a lot of road tyres and no axel locks, seems a bit daft, axel locks would walk half those out
Alot of manufacturers don’t fit them as standard these days!! 😳😎👍

Old mate in the red rover needed to use low range
Well spotted hes box jammed couldn’t get into low he had a nightmare of a day with it then died in the water!!
what areas are you in boys we a yorkshire group
We are west wales based around Carmarthen 🤘😎
REAL off road vehicles have good approach, break over and departure angles; the Land Rover Defender 90 (the real Defender) and the Toyota FJ40.
You’re spot on there!!! 😎👍👍
Where is the lane at 20.48 ish.
It’s in Carmarthen place called cynwyl elfed grid ref SN373270
Enjoy it’s hell of a lane 😉😎👍
That black Defender there - very tricked-up, but no diff-lockers!
@ArifGhostwriter yeah not sure what happened guessing his difflock was playing up??🤔🤔👍
Lol just full of people who can't drive off road 😂😂
Exactly haha sometimes things do go wrong haha
Wowww🎉
Glad you enjoyed that you might like yesterdays video if you get chance to see it 😉👍 thanks for watching 😎
i love you

Did they learn anything by this caper ? Bit like a Camel Trophy ?
Haha our very own uk camel trophy!! 😂😂👌 I wish they would bring back the camel trophy but don’t think any of the latest land rovers are tough enough Pugh or would even last!!
Why 😂😂😂
🤪😂😂🤘
