I see one thing and one thing only for Six Flags America; Wild One getting major TLC (track work, paint and such) for next season as it'll turn 100 YEARS OLD in 2017, that' a big deal as right now there are just three that old or older. The next time we'll see a coaster turn the triple digits will be in 2020. Bonus points if Six Flags reverts Wild One to it's original name of Giant Coaster that it used for 68 of it's 99 years in existence.
Maybe a RMC coaster?? Possibly an S&S Free Spin?? I could see it removing the 3-Point Challenge and Cannonball Express with the lift hill facing away from the park. Or the RMC could go next to their Raging River attraction.

For SFFT a dive, where can the dive go: i think itll drop in the quarry and itll continue below Superman lift hill, as there is a zone int he lift wioth no supports, the ride can make it go below it, then addlike an overbanked hill above the part between the loop and the wierd X type airtime hill... as that part is low to the ground... then a kinda immelman (dunno how to spell it right) kinda big, and go on top of the quarry wall... make a turn and then a break, then go down the quarry for a 2nd drop and go below the superman barrel roll, making it low to the groundand then they have a space where they can make a kind of thing that celdoar point did with Valravn at the last inversion, but instead of doing a halix to the left, do it to the right.... they can make an airtime hill after that..... then a corkscrew at the top of Superman's station.... then go down... and the brake run.... I could name this ride Bizarro, As the coaster Interacts with Superman, and Bizarro its his enemy, and Bizarro is a TM from Six Flags, so its better for SF.... colors could be Purple and Blue.... idk, put your opinion of this on comments
I can confirm La Ronde won't RMC Le Monstre. They renovated some parts of the track in 2012 and put new trains in 2016, also the layout is not made for an RMC, so they probably won't ever make it RMC. The park might indeed get a super loop but it's also possible that they get the S&S 4D coaster, it's been 6 years since the last coaster so they need one next year.
"The layout isn't made for RMC." What does that even mean? The coasters have gotten the RMC treatment have had all sorts of different layouts and RMC has been able to come up with incredible ways of reworking all of them. Also, Cyclone at SFNE had just gotten tons of track work performed on it just a season or two before they decided to do the RMC changeover.
Dennis G Because the layout is very compact compared to other wooden coasters, and they can't really expand it anymore because the space is very limited. Also the only thing RMC would change is the smoothness factor... there is only one big hill on Le Monstre that could become a zero-g-roll... other than that, an RMC treatment would just make La Ronde loose a lot of money for nothing. Also a classic coaster like this should'nt be ruined it should stay the same.
yugioh guy It's not just a question of being compact, it's also removing an old classic and taking the risk of ruining it, you don't know if RMC will make it better, they might completely ruin it and then there is no going back... Le Monstre is the second most popular ride in all of La Ronde, the waiting line is always filled, people are huge fans of this and it can't be replaced that easily.

In 2017, le Cobra will still be there but it will close later in the season but that hasn't been confirmed yet since La Ronde has been planing to close it every year for about 10 years already! Also Six Flags has bought a specific number of Super loops and one of them is going to La Ronde in the next 2-3 years according to some very reliable sources.

That comity includes La Ronde's directors but Six Flags has also something to say in it. For example, La Ronde wants to add a new ride. But Six Flags tells them "we are going to give you a new skyscreamer because we bought 9 of them". So La Ronde will be adding a superloop in the next 2-3 years because Six Flags already bought 10 last year and there's two left and La Ronde is very likely to get one but I could be wrong tho. 2. They are actually also removing Jester's Wild Ride and relocating East River Crawler to Orbit's location, I think the old spot of ERC and JWR next to Batman will hold the Super Loop

Six Flags Great America is going to get a 4D free spin I believe. Six Flags Great America did confirm Orbit is being removed and East River Crawler is going to be placed it Orbit's location and Jester's Wild Ride is rumored to be relocated to Six Flags America. Moving those two rides will free up enough space for a 4D free spin. It also rumored that the midway bridge in between Mardi Gras and Yankee Harbor is being torn down to accommodate the new attraction and it is said that a new path will be made to get to and from Mardi Gras and Yankee Harbor.
I think that a GCI is coming to Fiesta Texas, it would fit the quarry wall, and there is a video on GCI's official TH-cam Channel of a Coaster in an identical NoLimits recreation of Six Flags Fiesta Texas🎢😃

For SFGAm, I think a Zamperla Giant Discovery(the frisbee) will replace Ragin Cajun. The space fits it perfectly. If one ride would be removed for a Super Loop, I think it'd be King Chaos(our Top Spin). Revolution(our current Frisbee) could be sent to SFA.
At Six Flags Fiesta Texas, I envisage a level tunnel going into the foot of the cliff face. That takes guests to a tower that pokes out through the ledge above. The tower might be one of those Eifel Tower things like they have at Magic Mountain;but this could be the first to have its lift shafts going down beneath its feet. A drop tower falling through the ledge would be for the less fainthearted. How about a Poll.R Coaster! If you haven't heard of one: It's a new coaster what goes down a tower like a helter skelter (spiral slide). It would go through a tunnel at the bottom.

fiesta Texas has a height restriction of 200ft as well due to the airport. I personally would like to see the go karts by pandemonium removed and there's some space behind hurricane force 5 to fit an intamin launch coaster, something like Taron at phantasia
What I want for Six Flags Great Adventure is an RMC coaster. A lot of Six Flags parks have one, and it's a surprise to see that the biggest Six Flags park hasn't gotten one. I also think that it's better to put the Justice League dark ride somewhere else near Movietown. The spot where The Chiller was located could be used as a space for a future roller coaster
It won't happen. The president of the park already said in 2015 that it won't happen because it would be too expensive to have the entire length of the coaster retracked with steel so they would have to drastically shorten the ride.
XxRavenwing19xX That is not true. The structure is plenty strong. Any who, the park president DID say they have considered getting it retracked with wood and extending the drop to increase speed to prevent valleying when the temperature is below fifty degrees. And also he talked about replacing the trains, which makes sense because those Gerstlauer trains are just so terrible. The Boss wouldn't be that bad if had some good PTC trains.

Idea for SFFT Dive coaster: Dive off the quarry wall into a zero-g roll then go into a dive loop. Turn and do the MCBR and dive again towards the quarry wall, then do an immelmann loop and a helix then return to the station.
Yeah, I guess it's good but the only problem is that Six Flags isn't working with B&M anymore, and that the layout that I said is highly unlikely for a dive coaster. Almost every bigger dive coaster in the world has an immelmann right after the drop and a few have MCBRs right after the immelmann. Also, this layout would be super short for a large dive coaster. Probably shorter than SheiKra's, which I've been on 13 times.
The Super Looper for Six Flags Great America would be great. When I went mid-June that area of the park felt boring, lacking thrill. If that would happen that would be amazing. I hope that comes true too!
I know the area at Six Flags Great Adventure where the Bumper Cars were (which was also the location of the infamous Haunted Castle fire in 84) has been closed off for years. Any plans to rehab that area? And if you've seen that area, what does it look like now?
Valleyfair has released a statement saying they are getting rid of their enterprise to make way for "new heights" any idea what would fit in that space? it's right at the front of the park. should be exciting.
i think six flags stl should get rid of tidal wave. the drained it the other day when i was there quite early, so they may get rid of it, or boomerang has been closed for months after it half derailed, so that could be an option, but boomerang has only been around for a few years.

As much as I love SNS 4D free flies, and as much as I would want one to come to my home park at Six Flags New England, I honestly don't thin they will be getting one. SFNE usually gets a coaster about every 4 or 5 years, and the free fly would only come 2 years after Wicked Cyclone. I think think they will get a water park expansion, or more kiddie rides
I would love to have a dive coaster at sfft, SA has a height limit of 200 ft so i don't think a hyper coaster would work, plus dive coasters are awesome.
I feel as though six flags will get an rmc of The Boss either in the coming years or next year. If not next year, I feel as though the boomerang will stay and we will get a 4D Freespin.
If the dive coaster came true I think it will dive off the wall and it does not look like there is enough room for elements I think it will turn around and go up the quarry wall again and do all the elements up there or if there is enough room after the drop it will do an inversion and go back up the quarry wall for the mid course break run and do all the rest of the elements or what will be cool but will probably not happen, the could carve a tunnel in the quarry going upward so the coaster could go through the tunnel and at the end of the tunnel you end up on top of the wall again and the mid course break run and then the elements.
Hmmm.. as you mentioned with Fiesta Texas, the spot where the pic was taken was about the quarry wall where the fireworks and laser show are displayed so it might be just a new improved light show along with more show possibly.. just thinking realistically but who knows! A new B&M coaster would be sweet
I think 2 parks will pull a Great America, as in put in an original RMC coaster without removing anything good. That or they will do one side of a dulling coaster and leave the other alone, like e monstre.
At Great Adventure. The Chiller area has been vacated for a while and I knew wed be getting something like the Justice League thing. But With Rolling Thunder gone I cant see anything but a new coaster taking that spacw up, even tho we just got the 4D The Joker. So Something's going there Just a matter of if its 2017 or 2018? From Screamscape: Rumor - (8/9/16) I was suspecting this myself as well, but according to the latest rumor the soon to be vacated spot from Jester's Wild Ride, East River Crawler and the old Ragin Cajun spot will be used to add an S&S 4D FreeFly coaster. I've been keeping my eye on that spot at SFoT and I really hope that they're not putting a free-spin there. There's enough space to put a decent coaster there and that's the only space in the park for a great coaster. Also, we haven't gotten a big coaster since 2011.
With 2 possibly 3 parks getting Justice League, I don't think there's any room left in the budget for anything more than a 4D. Plus St Louis is probably getting a 4D as well and they tend to get the same type of rides.
Hey talory it is me i just read some massive news i am going to six flags next weekend here is read Several readers have noticed that the Superman drop tower ride at Six Flags St. Louis has been closed for quite some time. It was apparently closed for much of the early summer season, reopened for a bit and is now not only closed again, but the tower has been surrounded by work walls covered in black fabric making it hard to see what is going on inside. While I don't know all the details, if some of the rumors are true, then I'd say that there is a good chance the Intamin tower ride may not reopen at all this season. Stay tuned... In other maintenance related news, I'm also told that the park's Tidal Wave big splash ride is also closed and entirely drained of water. We've also heard many a disappointing tale about downtime issues and broken special effects on the park's Justice League: Battle for Metropolis ride. Mix this with the still closed from the accident Boomerang coaster and to be honest, the park's maintenance division just isn't looking too good right now. To be fair, this may not be a reflection on the staff themselves, as it could very well be a case of the park simply not having a sufficient budget to cover the maintenance costs, especially in the case of failing effects on Justice League. I’ve seen many a park have a fantastic ride dropped in their lap as a capital expansion from the HQ... but have those same HQ people fail to increase the park’s maintenance budget to accommodate the additional cost for the care and repair of that big expensive new toy.
They may be true. I just don't like how this park doesn't have any type of "traditional" coasters. They have the floorless and the rmc but no traditional wooden or steel coasters. The boomerang is the most traditional big coaster and it's just a regular boomerang

The wood is probably for maintenance. Allegedly American Eagle was going to be Iron Horsed years ago but RMC surveyed it and couldnt really do anything with it. Thats why SFGAM got Goliath instead

Six Flags Great America is going to get a 4D free spin I believe. Six Flags Great America did confirm Orbit is being removed and East River Crawler is going to be placed it Orbit's location and Jester's Wild Ride is rumored to be relocated to Six Flags America. Moving those two rides will free up enough space for a 4D free spin. It also rumored that the midway bridge in between Mardi Gras and Yankee Harbor is being torn down to accommodate the new attraction and it is said that a new path will be made to get to and from Mardi Gras and Yankee Harbor.
Great Escape added a Kids Play area in 2015. Maybe A Zamperla Enterprise or Zamperla Water Mania (Tea Cups with Water)?
I think that a GCI is coming to Fiesta Texas, it would fit the quarry wall, and there is a video on GCI's official TH-cam Channel of a Coaster in an identical NoLimits recreation of Six Flags Fiesta Texas🎢😃

For SFGAm, I think a Zamperla Giant Discovery(the frisbee) will replace Ragin Cajun. The space fits it perfectly. If one ride would be removed for a Super Loop, I think it'd be King Chaos(our Top Spin). Revolution(our current Frisbee) could be sent to SFA.

At Six Flags Fiesta Texas, I envisage a level tunnel going into the foot of the cliff face. That takes guests to a tower that pokes out through the ledge above.
The tower might be one of those Eifel Tower things like they have at Magic Mountain;but this could be the first to have its lift shafts going down beneath its feet. A drop tower falling through the ledge would be for the less fainthearted.
How about a Poll.R Coaster! If you haven't heard of one: It's a new coaster what goes down a tower like a helter skelter (spiral slide). It would go through a tunnel at the bottom.

For SFMM - a Sky Screamer type ride is not likely due to the wind problems at the park. That has always been a headache for them.

What I want for Six Flags Great Adventure is an RMC coaster. A lot of Six Flags parks have one, and it's a surprise to see that the biggest Six Flags park hasn't gotten one.
I also think that it's better to put the Justice League dark ride somewhere else near Movietown. The spot where The Chiller was located could be used as a space for a future roller coaster

It won't happen. The president of the park already said in 2015 that it won't happen because it would be too expensive to have the entire length of the coaster retracked with steel so they would have to drastically shorten the ride.

Any who, the park president DID say they have considered getting it retracked with wood and extending the drop to increase speed to prevent valleying when the temperature is below fifty degrees. And also he talked about replacing the trains, which makes sense because those Gerstlauer trains are just so terrible. The Boss wouldn't be that bad if had some good PTC trains.
The ride with the orange and blue tracks and hangs over the edge before the drop is valraven at cedar point in Ohio

Idea for SFFT Dive coaster: Dive off the quarry wall into a zero-g roll then go into a dive loop. Turn and do the MCBR and dive again towards the quarry wall, then do an immelmann loop and a helix then return to the station.

Yeah, I guess it's good but the only problem is that Six Flags isn't working with B&M anymore, and that the layout that I said is highly unlikely for a dive coaster. Almost every bigger dive coaster in the world has an immelmann right after the drop and a few have MCBRs right after the immelmann. Also, this layout would be super short for a large dive coaster. Probably shorter than SheiKra's, which I've been on 13 times.
The Super Looper for Six Flags Great America would be great. When I went mid-June that area of the park felt boring, lacking thrill. If that would happen that would be amazing. I hope that comes true too!

I know the area at Six Flags Great Adventure where the Bumper Cars were (which was also the location of the infamous Haunted Castle fire in 84) has been closed off for years. Any plans to rehab that area? And if you've seen that area, what does it look like now?

i think six flags stl should get rid of tidal wave. the drained it the other day when i was there quite early, so they may get rid of it, or boomerang has been closed for months after it half derailed, so that could be an option, but boomerang has only been around for a few years.
The orbit east river crawler and jesters wild ride is closing at 6flags great america so maybe some new kid rides or I do agree with the super loop
Jester's Wild Ride and Orbit are closing, and East River Crawler is being moved to Orbit's spot. I think that old spot is where a Super Loop will go

I think in the near future for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom might double the height limit from150ft to 300 ft.
The Great Escape could use some more rides like more coasters, and/or even a dark ride.
As much as I love SNS 4D free flies, and as much as I would want one to come to my home park at Six Flags New England, I honestly don't thin they will be getting one. SFNE usually gets a coaster about every 4 or 5 years, and the free fly would only come 2 years after Wicked Cyclone. I think think they will get a water park expansion, or more kiddie rides

I would love to have a dive coaster at sfft, SA has a height limit of 200 ft so i don't think a hyper coaster would work, plus dive coasters are awesome.
I feel as though six flags will get an rmc of The Boss either in the coming years or next year. If not next year, I feel as though the boomerang will stay and we will get a 4D Freespin.
If the dive coaster came true I think it will dive off the wall and it does not look like there is enough room for elements I think it will turn around and go up the quarry wall again and do all the elements up there or if there is enough room after the drop it will do an inversion and go back up the quarry wall for the mid course break run and do all the rest of the elements or what will be cool but will probably not happen, the could carve a tunnel in the quarry going upward so the coaster could go through the tunnel and at the end of the tunnel you end up on top of the wall again and the mid course break run and then the elements.
they may take out the train from that area retrack tge train going somewwre that would let the coaster to rhru tunnell

Hmmm.. as you mentioned with Fiesta Texas, the spot where the pic was taken was about the quarry wall where the fireworks and laser show are displayed so it might be just a new improved light show along with more show possibly.. just thinking realistically but who knows! A new B&M coaster would be sweet

I think 2 parks will pull a Great America, as in put in an original RMC coaster without removing anything good. That or they will do one side of a dulling coaster and leave the other alone, like e monstre.
At Great Adventure. The Chiller area has been vacated for a while and I knew wed be getting something like the Justice League thing. But With Rolling Thunder gone I cant see anything but a new coaster taking that spacw up, even tho we just got the 4D The Joker. So Something's going there Just a matter of if its 2017 or 2018? What do you think about the vacated Rolling Thunder area. We have no Dive Coaster. No Wing Coaster well unless you count The Joker but that's a 4d free spin (PS I can't stand the coaster lol) and we don't have an RMC. BUT Idk because El Toro is right to the right of the empty area. And Kingda Ka/Zumanjaro to the left. What do you think for that spot?

From Screamscape: Rumor - (8/9/16) I was suspecting this myself as well, but according to the latest rumor the soon to be vacated spot from Jester's Wild Ride, East River Crawler and the old Ragin Cajun spot will be used to add an S&S 4D FreeFly coaster. No word on if they will give it a Joker or Batman theme, or try something unique.

I've been keeping my eye on that spot at SFoT and I really hope that they're not putting a free-spin there. There's enough space to put a decent coaster there and that's the only space in the park for a great coaster. Also, we haven't gotten a big coaster since 2011.
With 2 possibly 3 parks getting Justice League, I don't think there's any room left in the budget for anything more than a 4D. Plus St Louis is probably getting a 4D as well and they tend to get the same type of rides.
It's just disappointing.

Hey talory it is me i just read some massive news i am going to six flags next weekend here is read Several readers have noticed that the Superman drop tower ride at Six Flags St. Louis has been closed for quite some time. It was apparently closed for much of the early summer season, reopened for a bit and is now not only closed again, but the tower has been surrounded by work walls covered in black fabric making it hard to see what is going on inside.
While I don't know all the details, if some of the rumors are true, then I'd say that there is a good chance the Intamin tower ride may not reopen at all this season. Stay tuned...
In other maintenance related news, I'm also told that the park's Tidal Wave big splash ride is also closed and entirely drained of water. We've also heard many a disappointing tale about downtime issues and broken special effects on the park's Justice League: Battle for Metropolis ride. Mix this with the still closed from the accident Boomerang coaster and to be honest, the park's maintenance division just isn't looking too good right now. To be fair, this may not be a reflection on the staff themselves, as it could very well be a case of the park simply not having a sufficient budget to cover the maintenance costs, especially in the case of failing effects on Justice League. I’ve seen many a park have a fantastic ride dropped in their lap as a capital expansion from the HQ... but have those same HQ people fail to increase the park’s maintenance budget to accommodate the additional cost for the care and repair of that big expensive new toy.
Fiesta Texas, is probably gonna get a different coaster if they do get one

They may be true. I just don't like how this park doesn't have any type of "traditional" coasters. They have the floorless and the rmc but no traditional wooden or steel coasters. The boomerang is the most traditional big coaster and it's just a regular boomerang

I would love the idea of a Dive Machine coming to Fiesta Texas. It is my home park and it would be a great fit, knowing B&M they could probably do a custom one just for Fiesta Texas.

The wood is probably for maintenance. Allegedly American Eagle was going to be Iron Horsed years ago but RMC surveyed it and couldnt really do anything with it. Thats why SFGAM got Goliath instead

I'm making a bold prediction here, but I am predicting that Six Flags St. Louis is getting a custom built RMC, not a iron horse treatment. Whether it's wood like Goliath, or the new Trex track, SFSL is getting an RMC. Also I got another one. Six Flags Fiesta Texas is getting a B&M Dive.
What about RMC Raptor or T-Rex coasters or a scratch built woodie like Goliath?
I'm thinking a compact launched coaster would be more likely for SFNE (such as a Sky Rocket 2)
They do need a launch coaster, but I think the S&S 4D is cheaper with less maintenance costs so I'm sure Six Flags will go with the cheaper option.
