- Between 2018 and 2019, I’ve spent a total of eight incredible weeks exploring the country of India. It’s a land that is rich in history, culture, languages, and a seemingly endless variety of cuisines. Those are the things that make me return to India again and again. There are always new things to see, learn, and experience, and I’m so glad I get to share them with you. Let’s dive back into my time in northeast India in March of 2019!

Good thing about Assamese Dhaba's is that they offer delicious pork fry with chilled bear. I enjoyed a lot when I was in Tinsukia but now I'm back to my home city Visakhapatnam and I'm missing those beautiful days.
Last time I had pork was 2.5 yrs back, kla aku agor din monot porile.
Love Assam

The guy, with a gamusa around his neck, washes his hands and says that there's nothing to dry his hands with. Haha. Anyways, man great work, I love your videos, keep it up.
Gamusa is not for washing hands, at least he knows about that. Gamusa is the slang word for Bihuwan.
@@chowborgohain6295 "Gamusa" literally means Ga (Body) and Musa (to wipe dry) in Assamese. It might be offered as a bihuwan (honorary souvenir) but that doesn't mean that he can't use it for what it's meant for.
That's what I'm saying at first it was not Gamusa, it was Bihuwan. Bihuwan was symbol of respect. We changed the true meaning of Bihuwan. How can someone use something to wipe while it is being offered as an honor to show respect to somebody! David is just being respectful in return unlike us.
He didn't want to disrespect it idiot
As it was offered to him with respect
@@rajuaditya6797 Stop with the name calling, where there is no necessity. It shows your upbringing and your culture.
I have been offered a gamusa many a times but I don't store them or keep them as a display unless it's a "Pator gamusa" or "Silk Gamusa", which is much more elegant and a very poor absorbent fabric which means it is made to be displayed and not used. David's got a cotton made gamusa around his neck. It was made to be used. I don't think it's disrespectful to use something which was meant to be used. We people in Assam use it. The gamusa is versatile, beautiful and useful which is why it is so respected.
It is good to see our Assamese culture is getting Global exposure, thanks David, keep it up 👍, Please try to visit Sibsagar, Jorhat,Dhemaji, Lakhimpur what we call Upper Assam
