Loving these videos. Ive had Homeworld DoK since release and unfortunately never got into MP at the time but I have revisited the game and it is still one of the best RTS on PC.
Welcome to the channel :) You can shut this strategy down in a number of ways. As I mentioned in this video, the Coalition factions can build LAV's faster, so you can simply out produce the Gaalsien player and force them off with a higher number of light vehicles. After that transition directly into Railguns and expand. Another great way is to follow my build order guide in the Aggressive Coalition Playstyle video. You can find that video in the Guides section of my channel, the same place this video is. That video shows a very powerful Coalition build. Dont hesitate to ask any question you have :)
Alternatively, using the baserunner turret as a lynchpin to secure a resource location helps, or keeping one or two AAVs at your SC is already a good way to ward off Sandskimmers. For assault railguns, a good LAV count will be helpful, or a more potent air force that focuses on killing the PC, if possible combined with suicide LAVs. after the PC is down, the enemy WILL have to back off, or risk losing everything to air.
