Fun fact: George Lazenby had a cameo in the 1995 FMV spy parody/spoof video game "Fox Hunt" for PS1 and PC, which besides being probably the best FMV game ever made, was also among the very last. For a campy good time it comes HIGHLY recommeded. It's also got a cameo from Danny DeVito.

He’s very tired. Not just from making videos but from life. He’s quite disillusioned at the moment. The scams going on with collecting and friends letting him down. Hope he gets better
I found a snatcher registration card inside of my copy of Who Shot Johnny Rock in 2020 and sold it for $192 on open auction lol. It help offset the cost of the Snatcher I bought a few months prior for $600 with reg card which was nice.
It’s been a long journey since that first Nintendo marathon. I remember watching that shit for days straight. The first time we met Ian. Good times man. Crazy that now I have nostalgia for nostalgia content I watched over a decade ago lol
How you've not made this until now is crazy after listening to the podcast forever. Seems like something you would have done already so I'm pumped to see it.
Definitely would like to see more scripted NES Punk episodes... I know they don't make much cash, but it looks like you're having so much fun making them!
Loved the video Pat! More content like this. I know it’s difficult to parse topics between your Punk videos and the podcast, but I’d welcome more commentary on the general state of the retro game scene, whether it’s retro bit releases, peripherals or just long form commentary in general. This was very well produced and it shows. More of this please.
Nice man! My grails are 1001 Spikes and VVVVVV for the Vita (seeeeaaaled!), of which there are believed to be somewhere between 25 - 50 in existence. These types of videos are fascinating. I learned a little bit too from some of the historical information. I already knew that you owned the NWC carts from being a long time viewer. You have an amazing collection!
Love this video. I have the original gold Zelda CIB, I walked into the store as a little kid with my mom and picked out that shiny nugget, the grays had no chance. I've been hoarding and an opportunistic buyer ever since. 400 CIB NES titles (some I've only seen once in my life - on my shelf) and a petri dish of bacteria equivalent of everything else. I SOLD as many sealed games as I could over the last 18 months. Paid $1 per game for new clearance PS1 titles 20 years ago, tossed them in the attic, and I sold them for thousands and respent to grab a few rare grails. Thank you for always recognizing what was truly rare and being an honest voice to honest hobbyists.
Your collection has always impressed me, and it's been about a decade since I started collecting myself (way too late, I know). I mainly collect Scandinavian release due to my location, and as it happens, I've managed to snatch CIB Mr Gimmick and Surprise at Dinosaur Peak. Neither are mint, but overall in okay condition (other than Gimmick missing the top cardboard cover from the box). It's cool to see some same items in our collections.
Happy holiday, Pat and everyone! It's me or the tone it's a bit more serious than it used to? Anyway, it's got the right amount of puns and classic jokes, and a very nice production quality. We appreciate it! Thanks for the video.
A product ultimately needs buyers whose intentions are to keep the product for that product to remain valuable. The sealed game market seems to be almost entirely comprised of people who are buying the product with the intention of flipping it for a profit
Great vid. I remember growing up losing to glassy joe only to return to win by knock out vs king slippo. If I'm believing what's being said on Wata, Pat is now the richest man in the world.
This is honestly just fan a service for the podcast and as a fan of the podcast I absolutely love it. I feel bad for those who miss out on all the references this is fantastic pat.
6:19 From what I've read, the CD version of Bonk 3 was released long after the HuCard/TurboChip version. The TurboChip was reportedly released in 1993, the CD version reportedly was the final North American release at the end of 1994.
Great video Pat! Great collection and good on you for collecting before it became ridiculous price wise. Wish I would have kept my games etc back in the day!
Really good video and I feel like it's been forever since I have seen you do one like this. I know there might have been another purpose for the video but I enjoyed watching it and seeing the games LOL
Great video Pat. Enjoyed it. Crazy some of the prices. As we are about the same age, I would sell them now and enjoy the money. I know it would be hard to part with them, but man that would pay for some adventures.
sweet video buddy. your collection is legendary. i started collecting around 2003 but stayed away from NES and remember you on your quest. My most expensive games are nowhere near yours (not into NES/TG16). I have a bunch 300-500$ games as i'm deep into PSX collecting. I think I'm going to start saving up for a Panzer Dragoon Saga... I always wanted this masterpiece. Happy New Year, Pat
I used to have a complete House of the Dead for the Sega Saturn that I bought I believe in the early 2010s for $185 with the Sega Stunner light gun. Earlier this year to help my mother with her car issues I sold that same complete game itself for $405. Not too bad. At the very least doubled my money.
Battletoads Vs Double Dragon on gb is a game I picked up for under $60 a few years ago and last I checked is selling at over $1300. Dick Tracy on gameboy is another one that's surprisingly expensive. I have one in near perfect condition and you see them selling for between $600- $700

Concerning the NWC carts, that article that was written by you/someone who interviewed you detailing the private sale and suchlike was a fascinating read, circa 2010.
Rarely ever bought used sealed games, but had a few over the years. Nothing in the crazy high price range, but I buy games to play them so I open them up.
Well the money is not the main reason of the hobby, we all love to play games but stil special for us collectors with a library at 4000+ titles and more then 100.000 dollar in collectors value its something to think about at times.
I'm not a game collector but I used to collect sports cards...until the grading system. I was a teenager and I immediately knew it was a scam just like I knew sealed common games were a scam immediately. It's not just collectors who easily figured this out.
That nes test box should be in a museum. That thing is going to be an important cultural artefact. Pat u should contact Nintendo about it. The history behind this is enough to make it extremely valuable irrespective of the separate value of the games. I kid u not
Crazy. I owned many of these games at one time or another, but lost them to sales and trades. I never thought they would become so valuable. Apparently, some people have more disposable income and craving for nostalgia than they have sense. 🤦♂️
Thanks to my pal Yoshi Vu for letting me borrow that "rare" N64 game!
I think it's some awesome stuff regardless of the price tag it's pretty freaking cool your collection is on another level anyways 🤘🎄🎅🐧⛄🎇💯👍👍
Damn I used to have buster Douglas
I'm guessing you had a pillow at the bottom of that trash can...?
Well done. Kudos on the humble brag, the collection, and the shade thrown at the speculator bubble:)
Thanks for making these videos Pat!
That was a great episode! Gave me same feeling as watching the old NES Punk episodes back in the day
Seeing the NES punk again is like seeing George Lazenby coming out of retirement to to another Bond movie, so sudden and unexpected

The best “mic drop” ever! Dropping that 9.8 A++ Mario in the trash was quite epic!
it was clever video editing :) the guy he refences in the comments, Yu, is a skilled video editor and stop motion animator
For real

Pat's literally the only person I'd ever watch talk about game valuations.
The part in the beginning when Pat said he filmed his collection for INSURANCE REASONS had me dying. 😆😁 I love stuff like that.
I’d love to see a version of this video but with BIG BOX PC games! Do it 🤘
