I originally thought to myself how does D.K. Oldies stay in business but with what their charging they probably have stacks of cash selling crappie systems for high prices
DkOldies deserves to be criticized if they actually screwed the pooch on this, however, it was in your best interest to actually hook this console up and test it. Actually receiving the wrong console is a pretty big issue. Gamecubes are region-locked and run at a different voltage according to region. Japanese 'Cubes also only have support for one language in the settings--which is Japanese. Therefore, you'd be able to instantly confirm whether or not you actually got the wrong thing or if the console you got was a lazy shell-swap. If it were the latter, that honestly wouldn't be much of an issue compared to them lying and sending a Japanese one instead of a US one.
Everyone is scamming these days when it comes to buying and selling games and systems. I can’t believe the prices for shit and this dumb grading system that makes people believe their games are worth thousands of dollars. It’s insane.

They emailed me back after I requested to return and they said that I need to specifically request a console in collectors condition with no flaws 😂😂 even though it’s the same price
The Japanese consoles are better as long as they're region switched. You can get a working one for 60 dollars and not the absurd scammy priced at DK Oldies
We know they are overpriced, we know they come dirty. But you should have showed their warranty sticker on the GameCube when you pulled it out of the box / opened it. Didn’t see that on it anywhere.
@@bryanobrien2726 That makes them illegal. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act made any means of withholding warranty due to end user maintenance illegal.
