5:49 Prefit barrels are made by a lot of companies, Hawk Hill Customs, Impact Precision, KS Arms, Zarmatt, Bighorn, Lone Peak, Defiance, even Tikka prefits can be cut by shoulder to proper headspace.
Cadex rifles are second to none. I own two tremors, tan and artic white and I just received my new cdx-40 375 cheytac. I wish they were located in the U.S.
Love my Cadex Defense rifles! I have three. A 6.5 Creedmoor Cadex Lite, .338 Lapua Magnum Patriot Lite, .375 Cheytac Shadow and currently saving for the 50BMG Tremor. Beautiful rifles.
Great content, thank you for that! I am new to long range shooting (from Qc, Ca) and I am shopping for a scope and riffle. This video is making the choice VERY difficult. You, sir, are going to cost me a lot of money ;)
Whether is getting better and there is this budget scope nikko stirling which have probabbly better glass than Vortex and you dont have yet video for it :D
Why button? you can button a rifle barrel in your garage with a shop press. Proof is in the pudding, the winning barrels used in bench rest and f class are shooting 4 groove single point cut on machines made in the 50's. These Cadex barrels, they look sick. Like something out of a video game but are they achieving the level of precision required for professional competition, not to mention those other barrels are a fraction of the cost.
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger (pun intended) to get my first precision rifle. These rifles are above my budget. I want the 6.5mm Creedmoor as my son has a RPR in 6.5 CM. He has a reloader so the benefits of him making me rounds is appealing. I'm struggling between going with a RPR in 6.5 CM but I'm really drawn to the Tikka T3X. For the Tikka I like the T3x TAC A1 but have the thought of going with a T3X Super Varmint then looking at a chassis from ... but why when I can just get the TAC A1 with a chassis. For the scope, I'm thinking of the Vortex Venom 5-25x56. I'd like it to be 1000m capable though I'll mostly shoot 100 - 300 yards. That said, it will most likely occupy the front slot in my gun cabinet most of the time as I consider myself a collector first then a shooter :) I'm in sales .... maybe if I get a big sale I'll treat myself to a Cadex.
Hi Brett, yep thats a great idea, the advantage of the super varmint option over the tac a1 is the heavier barrel. I have owned about 5 t3x varmint and 1 upr and 1 tac a1, for some reason though the upr and tac a1 (both have the same barreled action) were more accurate. The only difference I know of is the coated action it has a Teflon coating I beleive. Can't go wrong either way!
The rifle I recommend to everyone looking for a budget long range rig is a Tikka ctr....yes it's not perfect. And I like my custom rig much more but it was my first "factory precision rig" and it gave me under half inch groups for 5 shots(100y) of factory ammo almost boringly ,not bad for a 1000 dollar or less set up... but I also won't lie my custom gun is nice and shoots smaller but it costs.
@@prone_wolf8871 thank you for the input. I’m now thinking of starting with a CTR and spending a bit more on the scope. Any recommendations on the scope (manufacturer & model)? Thank you
@@BrickyardPowerMan what's your budget? That really determines everything....but the Tikka can put stack them small if you do your part for sure and it's more upgradeable then the tac a1....
I've shot the Cadex 50 tremor and have to say...I wasnt at all impressed when considering accuracy and cost. For the price there are better on the market. Maybe its because I've been making long shots for so long I've come used to certain rifles, but I judged the rifle honestly and would recommend the Steyr Arms HS50 I use for over 5 years if you can find one. They are so perfect they are sold out for the next 2 years but that's the banger in 50 that all long rangers should aspire to owning.
Do think so the Steyr isn’t a bad rifle but its just simply bare bones. The Cadex has the advantage of being customizable at the factory by the buyer in order to fit his or her needs. In terms of accuracy it all depends on the load of the bullet you select with relation to barrel twist and many other factors. I have seen many 50 cals shoot basically inconsistently with match ammo and shoot better with military surplus ammo while other shot perfectly with hand loads? Its all about finding the sweet spot in the rifle but I understand the cost is at a premium and in terms of accuracy one would expect more but accuracy is relative to the end user.

I was just looking at getting one 😮. But just got a new accuracy international . Sometimes a 6.5cm isn’t enough 🤷♂️
Oh man! Whats cost of ownership on the Tremor?
I would imagine with the recoil vibrations & chamber pressures something's gotta give.
Very nice series on CADEX. Well done!

Excellent series
Great series and amazing rifles
thank you Sir!
Love my cadex, very nice piece 👌
Luv the Cadex MX1 Muzzle Break '' Great Video 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Good video and information. Thank.
Glad it was helpful!
Pretty cool for sure 😎but you're making me want one even though I shouldn't 😂
Go for it!
What’s your take on this casex being used in prs competitions?
@@ProjectArms4719 Cadex quality is basically going to get you custom accuracy in a factory build. I would 100% be ready to use a cadex for PRS.

Salut Hugues, glad i could help!
That’s how this game goes🤣
I might have to get in contact with Short Action Customs for one of those brakes for my Savage 338 Lapua.
i have 2 of these brakes, and they work great!

Damn!!! I want a 20" barrel for my Tremor 50.
Très bonne vidéo!
Merci Philippe!
How do you order one of these rifles?
By voting Conservative. Duh.

Nice looking rifle. A lot of coin for having barrel problems out in the population.
Canada needs thousands of rifles in its arsenal stock piled
Wow these looks pretty expensive
👍good episode….one thing this guy said “You know” 84 times annoying like those that repeat “OK” numerous times.
Lol when I do interviews, I always catch myself going "that's amazing" it's like my default response!
This is a language barrier thing. Saying you know is very common among francophones speaking english
