Why are these being shared months after the race? It's confusing when you see 'Race highlights' being posted a few minutes or hours ago and no mention of when the race was. These are old highlights.

Because corporations pay the rights for the licensing and broadcasts.
Those corporations can't make their money if they or others just show whole races for free straight after they happen. That's why even this is video is edited and cut. The idea is, if you want to see this race or others in it's entirety, then there is a chance you may pay to watch it.
That's why pay per view, streaming services or subscription television is a thing.

As someone who watches other Motorsports, I gonna say it, skill issue on the TV rights for MotoGP, because other series uploads their highlights after the race on the same day, HECK NBC who broadcast repeat races on air and even uploading the MOTOGP highlights the day the race happens, in my opinion MotoGP needs to pick it up for social media when it comes to highlights because other sports are better in this since.
Heck I watch IMSA, and NASCAR and what's amazing fron them both is that days after the race they upload the races full coverage flag to flag on their official TH-cam channels and keep them there. That's something I wish other sports do and granted MotoGP do some full race uploads but it takes YEARS and F1 is even worse, they upload them for a limited time and they disappear.

Reminds me of the 2020 (or 2021?) season with Tech3 KTM where Miguel was taken down 3 times in succession by a Factory KTM rider. Surely this is no longer a coincidence, it feels more like a conspiracy against Miguel now

After VR46 retired, Why some people not interest with moto-GP again?
Look at those Ducati day in and day out crashes on corners! LOL Just as expected, Ducati gives advantage to Pecco's fastest bike for the longest straight; they even got a track called Ducati Track! LOL Because of the longest straight, it was just meant for them, a typical Ducati bike, beating the rest of the manufacturer. Suggest MotoGP stop making corner tracks, so we expected the result already, which is why they are losing spectators because the race has become boring.
Ducati has done engineering on their bike. Hopefully MM93 gets to drive one of those.
Ducati don't need him crashing their bikes... They're already winning with who they have, there's no chance that they'll make that gamble.

How do you not get that the entire entertainment value of high level competition is relevancy? No one goes back and watches the 3rd game of the regular season of NBA 2 years ago. But millions tune in to watch the 3rd game of this years season when it's happening, why? Because they want to see what is happening NOW!
I'd tune in to follow the MotoGP highlights every damn week if they were up to date, I think it's the most exciting motorsport to watch but I just don't have the time to watch it live. But who gives a flying fuck what happened in a random race months ago? The whole point of having a season is to build up the excitment and follow the throughlines and stories that emerges. I don't know who to root for or why in these highlights and it makes it boring.
It honestly seems like you're doing your very best to make an incredbly exciting spectacle as confusing and disapointing as possible to follow. Do better.
