Big respect that he gave props to the skateboarders who hit that spot first and laid the groundwork for him to come in and take it to the next level. A man of culture.
Rarely do you get that feeling of landing an amazing trick yourself just from watching someone else landing a trick, so just imagine how it felt for him.
This approach of refusing to commit to landing on it unless it feels just right is what has kept Ryan alive all these years. It just takes 1 gnarly slam and it's lights out
That was exquisite. Congrats to Ryan for all the years of dedication. Also thank you Red Bull for what you do to allow these top tier athletes to flourish. It’s a treat to witness.
This is so gnarly on so many levels. At first I thought Ryan was gonna tre to flat but when I seen him first trying to clear the gap lip down , was so sketchy I could barely watch. Decenzo forever a Stud !!!
Probably did it on his own volition. I don’t like to be a corporate cuck but you really have to hand it to Red Bull - they know how to find good talent and help these athletes reach their full potential.
Its hard in them streets... after traveling to the park for a warm up, traveling to the spot and taking a few attempts, it wasnt shocking at all to me to see him down a redbull to gain a little added energy in the middle of a long day... Reynolds drinks ice coffees before skate sessions constantly. I myself always down a ice coffee or energy drink before a serious skate sesh and usually bring along water or gatorade with me as well... like TJ im that fool that rules up to the spot with a cooler bag full of drinks.
So phenomenal! Props and respect to Ryan D. What an awesome athlete he is. Thank you Red Bull for posting this and thank you for beeping out the profanity. May God bless you all.
He is really good at kicking his board out from underneath him, he knew he could clear it easy but he just didnt want to clip and get his skin shred on the crete
Bailing and kicking out really is a learned skill. But he stuck it one time, and rolled away one time that is truly crazy I was expecting a gnarly slam

That was messed up bro I was afraid to see you commit it made my hands and feet sweat watching this, thanks for the griptape that one time at El toro bro
That was insane. Sometimes I don't like seeing Red Bull stuff in skateboarding, like dudes always wearing Red Bull hats and stuff, but they really do host legit skateboarding content and don't make it all lame. Like, this could have been put out by an established deck company and you couldn't tell the difference. So, they're clearly letting skaters direct everything skateboarding related. And they do a lot of other cool stuff; I dig watching the crazy bike stuff they've done, like that one with the toys and stuff. And I know the pros that are on Red Bull really make good money. Stuff like this makes those Red Bull hats look a lot less out-of-place, that's for sure.
If your not into extreme sports you will never understand how it feels to commit yourself to landing 1 trick. It might take a hundred or so fails but that incredible feeling when you land it is literally orgasmic. I used to damn near kill myself to learn a new trick or land a trick at a new spot. No feeling like it.

I don't think they realized the mellow roll up.
It looked like he was cruising in his part

I feel like Ryans the only one who still skates like this- early 2000's hesh.
And its amazing btw. Feels like the skating i saw during my youth.
There is a heap. Colin Provost, Jamie Foy throws down,. A heap more
I know but for some reason Ryans the only one who reminds me of that era. (And pls spare me the okay boomer comments)
@@saxenas - One of his favourite skaters is Geoff Rowley after all.

Ryan has one of the most consistent Treflips down gaps, looks so effortless and clean when he does it
they really made him drink a red bull between attempts lol
Lmao haha . It’s worth the contract

Definitely the current front-runner for trick of the year
yes
Doing this at his 34 is definitely one of the gnarliest things in skateboarding! Proud of you, Rayn is the man!
The kick flip was already insane! I can’t believe he did this tre flip!!
that thing is sooooo much bigger then it looks from the angle they shot it in!!! I wanna see a angle from the top.
From the top is just a blind giant drop
I know! wish we had it from the same angle as David's kickflip
So phenomenal!

Tricks of the year 🔥
I don't understand how he didn't slam even once on all those tries 😳
Talent and year of practice. I would be dead after one try
I would be dead just rolling in on it ok maybe not rolling in but if I tried to Ollie it I would definitely need a wambulance 🚑

Masterful execution. That gap was quite sketchy. Wow Ryan!
Great spot great trick great skater The Ryan Decenzo!
He’s as good as it gets. Always has been.
Decenzo the skater's skater. Respect.
That thing is huuuuuge. Omg it takes a lot of balls to even Ollie it
I swear, this looks IDENTICAL to the Chris Cole wallenberg tre flip. Like it's the same person, same clip
Looked effortless in his part... it obviously wasn’t. Gnar gnar
Which video does Alex Chalmers ollie into it in? His Sorry part? I don't remember seeing it there.
