This was basically a wine cellar tour for disc golfers. 👌
I started around the same time you did and I kick myself every day for not holding on to some of the discs I had early on. Proto star and big bird Roc3s, CE discs, PFN star Destroyers, colorshift early Ti Discraft stuff, various 11x molds....I feel like it was a little golden age, but that could also be my "back in my day" old man talking...and I'm only 30! 😂

i love seeing discs from this era, i started playing the year the destroyer came out and somehow never acquired one of the early runs D:
my first three discs were from a liquor store, a 4 chains magnet, no time kc roc, and a wings avenger
Looks like that yellow 3 line aj that you siad is crazy beef is a pd2 top destroyer. It was a small run thats pretty rare and valuable. A pd2 is just a destroyer bottom with a discmania anhyzer top and thats exactly what this run of destroyer is. Pretty much they are just pd2s that the released as destroyers. If on the top of the disc you can feel a dip between the nose and glight plate then it is a pd2 top destroyer

I've got a more recent Steve Rico Pinnacle Clutch and it's awesome. Super underrated. Flies like a Sky God IV but not quite as deep in the hand.

How do the flippy echo Teebirds stack up against a Streamline Drift?
I haven't thrown the Streamline Drift before! But I would put them against a standard run of the mill Crave! not a stable crave, like a stock Fission or something

That AJ Destroyer is a PD2 top. Barsby talked about it in one of his Collection videos. There are also Archon topped Destroyers.

AJ Star Teebirds are overstable. Entirely different from the new ones. Man, if you don't have a single Gold Line Striker in there, you're missing out.
The gold like strikers flies just like *insert comparable discs from seven different manufacturers*.
@@MegaLaban12345 haven't found a single replacement yet, although there have to be those molds.
@@MegaLaban12345I mean numbers wise there HAS to be a disc that is very similar. Feel wise I'm actually not sure as the Striker has a slightly wider diameter than most discs and it feels a little bit wider/deeper than most 8-speeds. I love the feel, although I think most people prefer smaller feeling rims on their discs. For me the "bulkier" feel gives confidence to give the disc some powerr.
Feel is subjective, point being.
