Woah woah woah Bodanza, I don't have to buy discs if I don't want to? Crazy talk, more discs equals I get more good. Ready to hit checkout on this $140 cart on Infinite right now, literally shaking. That's called dedication to my game.
Really appreciate that putter video by the way, as a fellow baby hand person it gave me some ideas on putters to try. Good luck this season.@@BodanzaDiscGolf
9:10 Vlog-drop A2! Yessir! I have one as well, it was the first Prodigy disc I purchased. Haven't thrown it much, but pretty impressed with the hand feel and stability. I'm glad I have a lower budget, not sure I could handle having so many options. All cool to see.
I also bag the Glitch but may be switching to the Watt. I still keep it in my bag for warming up with a friend though, but I’m not sure if it will stay used. It cam in handy for some low long putts though.
I'm glad the Mana was at least in consideration. I recently picked up a Bodanza stamp Mana, or Bodanmananza as I like to call it. I've chained out for ace twice since grabbing it. Such a great disc! Good luck in Waco! Very fun course. Very tough though.
Best of luck to you this season! I live in Colorado Springs and am going to Texas for the State Doubles Championship, so excited/scared for figuring out what to throw once I’m back at that elevation.
Really love the A2! I actually throw an A2 and A3 for the different shot shapes, especially flex lines. Also, I bag two mids that are similar to that pairing just faster: a Pyro and a Terminal Velocity Ursus which is a lot like the Birdie Ultra. The A2 and Ursus are beefy but a useable beefy, if you know what I mean. The A3 and Pyro are overstable but have a good amount of glide and not extreme overstability at the end of their flights.
I wasn’t a fan of the zone os until I bought it in a putter line plastic. It’s a lot like my regular zone but I like the lack of glide.. it’s really nice for dropping and sitting where you want it to especially because I tend to juice shots past baskets😂
Need to try the DD Bounty ma man. Great flight, understable but it doesn't ever dump right, and it's got surprising torque resistance, I love mine for touch forehands in the woods.
As if you didn't have enough choices, I always recommend the Gateway Element. Similar flight to a Buzzz but goes 20-30 feet further for me. Plus the rim is shallower and much more comfortable in my hand. Loving all these bag updates you've been doing, keep it up bro!
Another disc in that slot that’s super shallow is the lone star Texas ranger. What’s nice is that you can get two very different flights out of it if you get one in the founders plastic which is metal flake and OS vs bravo or glow which is more US than their alpha which is their star equivalent
I got one of each of the Pixel stiffness snd they feel like aviars. But better. My putting has improved 20%. I tee off hr harder plastics because they dont flip as much snd have a little finish.
Anubis=mako3, the actual mako3 mold has been used. The text is in the botum somewhere. I had two and lost them......demonic😂. Cause I usually do not loose discs or get them back when found.
Interested in the Chariots ... If I remember right, early on you threw Emac Truths. That is my current mid for that slot. What made you choose the Chariot over Emac Truths ? They look dope so I'll prob try some regardless but just curious about your thoughts on the differences between the two molds
Beat up a fission envy…. They last 10x as long as an electron but get basically the same proxy like flight after about 2-3 months of use. They don’t get knicked up, warp, or taco like electron, but still feel like a very “premium” base plastic
Wanted to comment on here, sorry its so late. But the Goliath Pillar is pretty awesome. Maybe give that a try. I know you probably got your putter. But thats an option to. It got rated most overstable putter! Lol
When you where throwing the understable mids, why did you throw them on that shot shape and not a turn over which is what you would be using them for more in tournament?
I don’t know if you have tried it but the discmania Method is a nice straight to stable disc when thrown hard. However you do throw probably 100ft-150ft farther than me. But doesn’t hurt to try
The new aura manas that just came out are FLIPPY! I got one to try out, threw it on hyzer it popped up flat, held straight for about 60ft then started drifting to the right (on RHBH). Was the first time I had ever got a late flip like that. I think it might kick my lobster out of my bag because its a bit more flippy.
To piggyback on comments I've read, thank you for the transparency, so many good/cool/new discs to tryout. However, I am curious of your opinion: can one be overwhelmed by too many choices of discs?
@@BodanzaDiscGolf I appreciate that feedback. Idea for a frolf video, a frolf talk if you will, how many throws with a disc to become familiar/comfortable with it, maybe putters specifically?
hmm I think it's dependent on your experience with new discs. If you don't try new discs or trust your throw to be consistent it'll take longer. I feel now I can get an idea of a disc in like 5 throws maybe, but some require more!@@Big_C_Here
Nice, the Opto Ruby just slapped the Glitch out of my bag, much easier to use as the glidey understable alternative since the Glitch simply isn't understable but a great tool for form! xD Looking forward to the rest as well! I think the connection you got to that first Pharaoh made this bag and trying to use as much Infinite molds very much easier. ;) Ps. Made my A3 whistle today Ds.
I understand what you say about the Origin. But frankly, unless the Detour stock run is something wonderful I feel like Origin is such a bomb to put on all lines
Unfortunately prob not. I was going to bag a quake last year but it doesn't hold up in a headwind the same as the ultra, a little more rounded rim instead of the bluntness and it just wasn't it. Definitely could revisit in the future though!
Is the Ultra as Overstable as the MD5? I have been thinking about getting one to slot between my Hex and MD5 but apparently they are pretty close....right now I have a Reactor that is pretty nice but I may want just a tick more overstability
I want to like the A2 but the hand feel doesn’t agree with me. Went with Proto lucid Culprits to compliment my X-zones (more straight) with a Berg as my 3 approach discs.
I throw envy’s, zone’s, a2’s, used to throw origins, and now throw ultra’s. The only reason for not throwing the origin anymore is because I have a very seasoned hex that flys the same but now I carry 2 hex’s and a reactor as flippy, straight, and stable and then the ultra as overstable. Surprised me when you started talking about your choices to see how similar our bags are. I even do bags 2 speed thrower but it’s pilots instead of marvels. Since I putt with cohorts they’re more under stable as throwers and faster
I'm kind of surprised that MVP/Axiom discs didn't end up in your midrange discussion. I don't think I could ever have a bag again without a Hex, and I've grown to love the Matrix as well.
MVP/axiom/streamline has such a solid midrange line up it's insane. Hex, pyro, detour, deflector, runaway, echo, resistor, the list goes on and on. Truthfully I think that's where MVP shines the most outside of the envy/proxy combo of course.
I currently bag runway, reactor, hex, and then claymore. Once the detour is easy to get I might put that in. Or wait til my hex beats in a bit more (it’s already old enough to flip nicely).
2:50 "Not all of these are gonna be good sorry!" I'm currently living in Erie PA and I SWEAR the locals are low key trying to gaslight me that throwing in the 25* snow is no different than the summer 🥶🥶

For sure!!! @@jjhill001
The A2 is a sleeper! Appreciate you snagging one 🫶🏻
You’ve got me thinking about the A2 as well. Sometimes my zone is just too straight. I like throwing fh approaches flat and not on hyzer
Love your transparency in all of this and to see your reasoning behind what you’re throwing! We are all routing for you at Waco! Go crush it!
Respect for giving the tomb a chance. It is very different…it either hits or it doesn’t. I love it.

Got my first.two infinite discs coming in the mail tomorrow. Bought them because of you dude. A czar and a pharoah.
Prodigy A2 is so good!!! It’s unlike any other approach disc on the market
Why do you say that? What makes it so unique?
@@johnshepherd6925 the stability and shape of it isn’t like other overstable approach discs.

I neeeeeeed that Cryo Stone MD5. let me buy please🤣Loved the video and the bag selection so far!
Origin lets go! My first midrange and my first Ace dics.
Love the peace train
I highly recommend the Millenium Solstice for your semi-overstable midrange slot.
Previously known as Md4🎉
