Project x zone 2 is incredible very faithful to every character who participate and they have segata sanshiro, so I considere it one of the best crossover of all time.
I personally prefer PXZ 1 for its Roster. I mean we get no representatives for the Super Robot Wars and Valkyria Chronicles series in PXZ 2 and some interesting combinations have been separated (I'm looking at Kosmos and Telos)
@@AsianMoriarty I have both versions of the game (still playing through 2) and I like them both, however I find it a bit difficult to go back to the first one just because it gets repetitive near the end and the game starts to drag. You really begin to notice it too and by time I got to the final chapter I just wanted to beat the big bad just so the game would end already.
To be fair, so did "Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed ". Yeah, it has Sanshiro in a stage, riding a rocket! Easy to miss, though, when you're trying to place 1st on the course.

We can accept opinions, but we seriously wonder why people like Sonic & Mega Man: Worlds Collide THIS much. A Sonic & MegaMan crossover is an idea that had a lot of potential, but we also asked for a Sonic the Hesgehog X Pac-Man World crossover our whole lives.
Such a good crossover, and one of the main things that made me a Mega Man fan! Worlds Unite was also pretty good, but it felt a bit...crowded later on.

An honorable mention: Fortune street! A monopoly style game that's a crossover between Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and in some cases, Mario. You probably never heard of it because it barely gets localized.
I don't even know many series have been represented in SRW and I love mech anime. Off the top of my head you've got the Gundam franchise (that's 15+ series right there), Big O, Space Runaway Ideon, Gurren Lagan, Lelouch, Armored Trooper Votom, Zoids, Mazinger, Getter Robo, Evangelion, Patlabor (I think), Macross (that's another 3-4 series), Space Battleship Yamato, and I probably haven't even scratched the surface. Super Robot Wars is insane.

Somebody that remembered that Tokyo Mirage Sessions existed! I loved that game! Well, I loved some of the characters and the ludicrous commitment to that pop star aesthetic. It had a very fun style to it. I just kinda wish it had a plot they spent more than five minutes on or something other than a bland everyman protagonist. Why in the world would you have that kind of protagonist in a game based around superpowers coming from stardom?

My top crossover... is not the typical Kingdom Hearts or Super Smash Bros games. Sorry, I do not grow up with Nintendo and Kingdom Heart's camera KILLED ME almost literally. (That being said, I acknowledge that Smash Bros Ultimate is FUN). My top crossover is something that would be extremely alien to the Countdown Community. My top crossover is... SUPER ROBOT WARS. It's almost like Smash Bros... except with almost all mecha anime known in Japan, with a side dish that if Banpresto/Bandai Namco spots a series with problematic plot, they will fix it and redeem the series. The gameplay is simple enough and the animation are gorgeous and often times faithful to the original anime. It's like watching all these big anime crossing over, with their own style kept intact. It's just now that they decided to bring this over to the states, but really... THIS is the greatest crossover to me. Though I think if you do not include it beyond "No, I haven't played this game", it's because.... it violates rule #2.

What's your favorite poke dialogues from HotS? There's so many side splitters. From older Generation game characters Tassadar and Cassia getting confused over the updates their newer games have. "What's a Void Ray?!" To the Theme quotes like Spacelord Leoric. "Why are the Star Princesses so resilient? ...And it's not the power of love. Stop saying that, it's stupid." Or just Thrall saying "Wait. Blizzard actually made Lore for this game?"
I'm not surprised that Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Marvel vs. Capcom were in the highest spots, but some of these games I never knew they were considered crossovers, like Heroes of the Storm and Kingdom Hearts 2 (I know it combines Disney with Final Fantasy, but the way each "world" interact with one another was brilliant). Although, I'm shocked you didn't put in your list the Project X Zone series: 3 major companies, using heroes and villains from different worlds, collide in a strategy-rpg style battle, alongside musics from their respective games; with so many names I never knew and legendary characters, like Ryu Hazuki (Shenmue), Vergil, and Sanger, this series is one of my favorites)

Pokemon Conquest scores bonus points from me for being the rare official game where your starter is an Eevee and you can evolve it, which I really think they should do in more iterations. Like Pokemon Let's go Eevee for example (in which you can't evolve it)

My top crossover... is not the typical Kingdom Hearts or Super Smash Bros games. Sorry, I do not grow up with Nintendo and Kingdom Heart's camera KILLED ME almost literally. (That being said, I acknowledge that Smash Bros Ultimate is FUN).
My top crossover is something that would be extremely alien to the Countdown Community.
My top crossover is... SUPER ROBOT WARS.
It's almost like Smash Bros... except with almost all mecha anime known in Japan, with a side dish that if Banpresto/Bandai Namco spots a series with problematic plot, they will fix it and redeem the series. The gameplay is simple enough and the animation are gorgeous and often times faithful to the original anime. It's like watching all these big anime crossing over, with their own style kept intact.
It's just now that they decided to bring this over to the states, but really... THIS is the greatest crossover to me. Though I think if you do not include it beyond "No, I haven't played this game", it's because.... it violates rule #2.

I'm not surprised that Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Marvel vs. Capcom were in the highest spots, but some of these games I never knew they were considered crossovers, like Heroes of the Storm and Kingdom Hearts 2 (I know it combines Disney with Final Fantasy, but the way each "world" interact with one another was brilliant).
Although, I'm shocked you didn't put in your list the Project X Zone series: 3 major companies, using heroes and villains from different worlds, collide in a strategy-rpg style battle, alongside musics from their respective games; with so many names I never knew and legendary characters, like Ryu Hazuki (Shenmue), Vergil, and Sanger, this series is one of my favorites)
I'm glad I'm finding other PXZ fans in these comments! Although I personally prefer the second one, the first one has some entertaining moments and character interactions.

One crossover I love that sadly no one talks about is Project X Zone series. I love how it brings franchises from 3 (3 1/2 with PxZ 2), the story is dumb but I love the the insanity and the interactions between such clashing characters is just bliss
