lol “I like to use chemicals when I clean” - grew up using Comet powder for bathtubs. I honestly just use Lysol multipurpose lemon spray or there is a bathroom cleaner with bleach in it if I feel like I need the bleach.
I use the Lysol toilet scrubber to clean the shower tile and nooks and crannies plus the toilet cleaning gel for the rest! It’s super easy to keep the shower squeaky clean! Plus a floor scrubber so I don’t have to be on my knees to save my back! It’s literally the best combo ❤
Couple of things, you do what you like in your home. It's beautiful and neutrals are classy. Second, your husband's voice...he sounds like a southern gentleman and I love that! I'm clearly a northerner! 😂 I've been doing the same thing with watermelon - cutting it up and putting it in the fridge all summer. It's fabulous! 😊

Dish soap is GREAT in bathrooms, specifically for showers and tubs. Dish soap is a mild alkaline, which is what you WANT to use to get rid of grease and dirt. Acid-based products, which are many bathroom products, are better for getting rid of limescale and hard water. I live in west central Florida, and our water is hard as nails, so that's always problem. I use Lysol toilet bowl cleaner to get rid of hard water and calcium buildup not only in the toilet bowl but around faucets and shower doors too. It's better than CLR because it's thick and clings. I love the Clorox wand and use it weekly, but I just use that with some of the toilet bowl cleaner ever couple of weeks to keep the calcium ring at bay, ha.
Lauren I am very much the same way, too much color in my every day decor brings me anxiety. It’s crazy because before becoming an empty nester & building our new house I used a lot of color! I do a lot of neutrals with pops of greens in plants, etc. & a lot of different textures. It does make it easier to work in the holiday decor for sure.
I use rejuvenate to clean my shower and bathtub. That’s been the best thing I have ever used…Not only takes the strenuous work out of it but it smells so good!!

My living room rug started rippling along the edges. I loved it and I did not want to buy a new one. I lined the back of it with duct tape from one end to the other. If you turn that rug over it is solid silver! I did that 10 years ago and it still looks good.

I need to clean my bathroom. I will do that when my daughter takes a nap. I gor hwe room picked up. I will be doing a deep clean of her room this weekend. I also need to clean thw kitchen still, but with my autistic toddler aqake it isn't happening yet. 😊 I have a fall candle lit in my house. My mom doeant like spray aie fresheners so i use candles instead. I have laundry in the dryer. At this moment i am watching you and playing with my daughter to help het with play and words. She had brain damage at birth due to lack or blood and oxygen during L&D, so she is catching up.
My favorite part was Ollie saying “Pizza!!!!” My 2 year old walks around requesting “FRANFRIES!” 😂. Thank you for always keeping me inspired to clean and decorate my home 💕

Use "Iron Out" powder and spray!! Only thing that gets the hard water stains out of our toilets. We have well water

I love using oxyclean foamtastic bathroom cleaning spray on my shower/bathtub, I spray after every use and keeps its nice and clean!
