Popeye's Chicken sandwich is by far the best , but just a couple of days ago I pulled into Sonic and noticed they had a new item called a Chicken Stinger. You should try it - it is like a mini Popeye's, more of a snack, but if you get the combo you get those great tots and a soft drink - gotta love the pellet ice!
So i decide to go to Popeyes today only to notice like 15 cars in the drive through. I decide to make line and this other guy cuts off another car,the guy that cuts off gets out of his car and starts yelling at the other guy. Long story short, no stupid chicken sandwich is worth getting shanked or shot at.
I live in Australia and have booked a ticket to fly to America to have the Popeyes fried chicken sandwich.

The first thing I noticed was the clever Thermal Packaging around the Sandwich to contain the heat. Upon opening the bag, The steam hit my nostrils with a pleasant aroma of Popeyes Chicken but with something extra or missing ..not sure. I was amazed at the sheer size of it. This sucker was HUGE, I was in for a real meal.
I took the first bite ..... The texture was a real surprise. Crunchy with that classic Popeyes Batter, but the meat exploded with juices in my mouth, just as the pickles and sauce drowned my palate with a tangy flavor of goodness. After two more bites like this, I started to noticed the light sweet taste of the bun. This was just the icing on the cake.
All in all, I must say. This was, without a doubt the most awesome Chicken Sandwich I've ever eaten.

I went to Popeyes in the middle of lunch rush and the sandwich was old to the point where the breading was becoming soggy and falling off and the meat was dry. For that reason I'd give CFA the edge just from consistency. But a fresh sandwich from Popeye's might win especially if they seasoned the filets like the spicy tenders.

I like both sandwiches, from Chick Fil A and Popeyes.
Both sandwiches are great. I like the spicy Chick Fil A sandwich and the spicy Popeyes sandwich.
I think I like the Chick Fil A one a little bit better though because it's not too big, and it's pretty simple too.
Don't get me wrong though, the Popeyes spicy sandwich is amazing, it's just really big, and it makes me really full after I eat it.
I had a raw chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A and that was the last time I went there. Popeyes has cooked their chicken sandwiches very well. And always good quality.

I highly doubt that since it's a thin 3 oz. breast and they're pressure sealed and cooked in a timed fryer in a layered basket that keeps them from clumping together. There's literally no human element to the cooking process which would allow something to be under or over cooked.

Whenever anyone buys a lot of fried food and takes half a month to get it anywhere to try it side by side, an angel somewhere gets stomach cramps. Fried things stay perfectly crunchy for a couple of minutes, after that they die a rather sad death.
Just had it, very nice, better than the others but not a MIND BLOWING experience, would recommend 9.5/10

Honestly I genuinely love the spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's but I also love smothering it a bit with their honey mustard..... To die for! But that's just me. The brand of the sauce is Samyang and you can find it a lot of Asian grocery stores or on Amazon. They're one of the brands that make the spicy Korean ramen (packaged) that was part of the spicy ramen challenge on social media a couple years ago.
