  • Chick-fil-A has long dominated the chicken sandwich category in fast food. After Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen launched its own version of the chicken sandwich, other fast food chains like Wendy's, McDonalds and Shake Shack got into the battle. Here's how chicken took over America.

Dave Parsons: But in the US, such nonsense has become so common that didn't even surprise me, or do I doubt the veracity without independently verifying it.
We need to have real sanctions for lawyers that bring frivolous lawsuits for clients. In England that happens -- barristers can be suspended from practicing for X months, for example.
The risk is some judges might make a mistake, but as long as that can be appealed, it should be an improvement for our already overcrowded court system.

It was really nice to know you would NOT have to work Sunday, especially after a grueling busy weekend with very busy Friday and Saturday nights.
I think that today profits overwhelm something as prosaic as being closed Sunday on the principle of the thing -- or taking better care of employees.

@@Isaac-gh5ku Depends on what you define as healthy. If you're having white meat of either the calorie and fat counts are pretty similar, dark meat jumps a bit more for chicken. Turkey also needs a bit more to it to make it flavorful unlike chicken, meaning likely higher sodium counts. Turkey will almost always be better than beef, but grilled chicken isn't all too different than turkey health-wise. Yes I remembered it. I actually tried it because back in 2007 the lines for the 1 Chick-fil-A in my town always had long lines. So I tried the McDonald's version and was content. Then in 2012 I tried Chick-fil-A for the first time since the early 90s. I was blown away by the size of the sandwich and equally satisfied by the taste. I kicked myself for not trying this a lot sooner.

Domestic cattle bread on cut & burn forrest not so much..
It'd be best on the env (and likely our bodies) if we didn't consume animal flesh (including poultry) all together.
My point was society as a whole would likely benefit from trying to reduce consumption of the most water/land intensive livestock.
I also think it's shocking the percentage of centenarians that consume mostly vegetarian diets. Big Meat constantly markets to us in the US and not many talk about it.
