With each update, however, these chars received new moves, but they inflicted less and less damage. In Zangief's case, his WW version only needed to use the Spinning Pile Driver on his opponent roughly 3 times; but his Super Turbo version obviously requires to use the move more than 3 times, mainly because of his Super Combo: The Final Atomic Buster.

Are there any videos comparing how much damage every version of Zangief does by using the Spinning Pile Driver? I watched a HSF2 TAS with Super X Zangief, and I don't recall him inflicting as much damage as the WW version. I would be grateful if anyone proves me wrong.
I think the game was someway pimped out those punches looks too much fast, like automatized, something like 10 punches for second to use for creating break times lol. But I can be wrong and the player is just a monster 👾 lol

WW Zangief didn't have the super high dizzy rate. That was added in the versions after WW.
