I think the reason it's black is because his raging demon end screen is different in 2nd impact. Shin akuma in 3s is a leftover from 2nd impact, so maybe it's trying to draw his 2nd impact end symbol, but the graphics have since been removed in third strike. Just speculating though!

Oh my god, you finally did it. I always had a feeling 7 million with Akuma was on the radar, but given the extreme RNG manipulation involved, even a given TAS was unlikely to find a way to get there.
I remember playing sf3 3rd on ps2 with all super moves available without having to choose, so i can chain any super moves to another super. Hopefully you'll make that kind of video some time in the future😊

Edit: Wait is his rival just another Shin Akuma? Weird...maybe something even crazier was originally planned for the character.

I'd like to see a TAS playthrough where the AI is doing all the cheats it pulls in the 30th anniversary edition of this game. Where were the unblockable normals, the invincibility frames, instant dizzy recoveries and controller reading?
Most of the time when making a TAS like this, it's as simple as "ah, he's using the unblockable on this frame and I can't get out of the way, that's a reset." Eventually, you get a lucky run where you manage to deal with all of it, and that goes in the run, on to the next level.

About the combos the TAS is using.... I would love to reliably pull off a few of those. Time to get to work on the jumping fireball juggle.
