Gary Moore died of a heart attack in his sleep at the age of 58 during the early hours of 6 February 2011. At the time, he was on holiday with his girlfriend at the Kempinski Hotel in Estepona, Spain. After a quiet dinner, they went for a walk on the beach before going up to their room. His girlfriend raised the alarm at 4:00 am, and tried to give him a heart massage. His death was confirmed by Thin Lizzy's manager, Adam Parsons.

The list of guitarist I admire has grown over time but the earliest ones that inspired me to want to pick up guitar in the first place still holds strongly today.

A small remark: The original is recorded on a Jackson guitar that had a Floyd Rose tremolo and the vibrato is also played with a whammy bar on the original. That's why it has that smooth "downward" feel instead of being bent. Otherwise, very nice performance.

I've watched all the major guitar cover channels on TH-cam with millions of subscribers n this guys videos are equal or even better than those channels. I just feel desafinados deserves at least a million subs. His content quality n playing is fantabulous

I have listened to this, I think easily 80-90 times and every time you capture me brother I really want to learn to play this song and can’t imagine sounding like this ! But I am practicing and practicing till I hope get to play the song and then I will try and master it, it will take me 2-3 years of non stop practice but we will hopefully get there
