After watching few videos on YT, I bought the JBL 310 few days ago and I will tell you, all the videos don't do justice for the jbl. The jbl is a beast with great quality sound. The bass mids and high really compliment each other. The BEST RE-CHARGEABLE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER OUT THERE. Highly recommended.

Woah!!! I'm wearing earbuds but the bass from JBL is purely evident. I'm a lover of crisp minds and highs accentuated by that deep bass that stays reserved till its needed, don't know if that makes sense. Otherwise thanks a Bunch for the vid mate. The design of the XBOOM XL7 is sadly looking "cheap" not in a bad way but the grey/white with the rest of the devices makes it look kind of "old-school" the matrix display is a nice touch the XBOOM text being red on the front is distracting I would have more liked there to be a sort of grey-ish text or move it more down to the bottom, otherwise the app is nice and overall the speaker is great
jbl blowing those speakers out of the park with bass, my god. however, the lg and the sony sound a tad clearer and have tight punchy bass. (yes i know, jbl will also win bass wise if set to punchy bass, so dont start another comment war)
Vocal effects??? Karaoke Parties is #1 reason for many of us to buy a portable loudspeaker.. but dry sounding vocals from a microphone can zap the life out of a karaoke party... Which speaker has a good built in echo and or effects for the Mic inputs?
I am from INDIA and i love binge watching your videos ! Dude you And DLX WELLINGTON are my favourite , keep doing what you do ! I own a pair of PB 310 and they are the best box speakers in this price range ! I am an audiophile too ! Got a couple of speakers at my place ( JBL CHARGE 2 AND 4 , LG HB906 TA 5.1 TOWER SETUP for the TV , 2 PB 310'S , 1 PB 100 , LG OL100 ) 😊 in past i have owned sony MUTEKI 7.2 as well .... ! To me sony is moreover inclined towards JAZZ , METAL , ROCK genres whereas JBL is moreover better for listening to TECHNO , R&B , DUBSTEP ! whereas LG lies somewhere in the middle , adding on to it LG is the best for home audio setups on a budget (5.1) ! One more thing that i would love to add is that SONY is not durable if you play their speakers at a higher volume for longer period of time their main PCB board blows up , it has happend with me and with my friends too over a period of time !

I hope and pray that it doesn't happen to your XV 800 😅 but my experience with sony in the past is not good at all , me and my friends we have all been through the PCB issue ! The guys at the SERVICE CENTRE say that it usually happens due to heat ! When the speaker is being used continuously for an extended period of time at higher volumes their speakers are tend to blow up !

If you like karaoke, don't buy JBL 310, when the music is loud and you sing at the same time, your mic volume will be lowered. Not sure why but it happened to me. Haven't tried the LG or Sony. I'm using samsung MXT50, works great with the mic but not really loud enough for outside. I'm thinking about the LG because of that digital screen haha but not sure if the mic volume gonna be affected like the JBL

Well I can't see the LG XL7S being 600$ for long if it can't provide anything over its direct competitors beside being louder when plugged in. Not to mention you can only boost or decrease the 3 band eq with a 100Hz band slider which is just laughable. The XP-700 if i can recall correctly was still the best sounding speaker i have tested but the deep bass and battery management future just had me send the XP-500 and 700 back after I got all the footage I need for future videos.The Partybox 310 is the only one i can actually receive and buy but im still hoping to see a 320 soon. Noce comparison 👍 and you plan on comparing the XL7S to the 110 and XP-500?
@@EZR396 JBL recently released the Charge 5 and Boombox 3 Wi-Fi models and to be honest I don't like the design and it is kinda pointless because the Charge 6 will probably come out this year.
good day Gymcaddy, I have a problem with my jbl 310 regarding its auxillary input and chain in. when using its 3.5mm inputs connected to rca outputs of mixer or player, the jbl310 sounds really bad. Does jbl have a solution on these problems?
@@GYMCADDY Thanks! But I tried using audio out from PB 310 to PB Encore Essential's aux in and it does not work. I've seen the encore in your video playing in sync, somehow that's not the case for me.
I can't believe you said the light feature was more dynamic on the JBL than the LG. I like the JBL speaker the most, but the light feature is very clearly the best on the LG. The others don't have programmable full animations. It's not even close. We're talking about two circles vs being able to show cartoons or spell out words. You have got to be heavily biased.
@@GYMCADDY that's weird, try going into the developers option and select manually AAC on bluetooth codecs, and it does indeed play on it and maybe its placebo but I notice a diference in sound quality, its crispier and just sounds cleaner.
@@GYMCADDY for my poco x3 pro, you go to the Bluetooth settings after you connect to the speaker you click the little arrow on the right and there is an option to use the AAC codec right there

I'm listening on a pair of Heco Aurora 300 amplified by an Harman Kardon HK680 and believe me that JBL is the best on Bass (probably very good for party) Sony sounds very natural and LG a little muffed. At least that's my conclusion from sound test. For party or Bass lovers JBL is the one! Between Sony and LG is about what you prefer more.
I think the 510 is in the way. Idk if it’s a replacement for the 310 or a model between the 310 and 710. Either way, I think the 310 is due for an upgrade. I want bigger battery, bigger wheels. Upwards firing tweeter. Better light feature.
Listening to my xdobo x8 plus. The jbl 310 its sound different in my earphone has deeper bass. But the other 2 is has much punchier bass in my xdobo x8 plus. Great comparison 👍
@@Natsukashii1111 yeah tbf theyre expensive and i wouldnt buy them (prefer tribit) but theyre the best for the physical and sound quality you get. I owned a couple flip 5s and the pulse 4, unmatched quality in terms of feel. I also have a go 3 and because i could *feel* its quality i used to hear the doppler effect by throwing it across a field 50 meters into the air and its fine, I wouldn't trust my tribit to survive that
@@asduhaisjdjasd as I said in my opinion the smaller speaker are easier to be bested by other concurrent, like the tibit stormbox mini being better than jbl go/clip, extreme 3 lacking compared to my hk onyx and all but jbl is pretty consistent, you cannot realy be disappointed even tho something might be better. Tho partybox encore, partybox 110 310 etc you cannot find things better than them unless you maybe go soundboks but then you're paying 3 time the price.

I was a Sony fanboy, xb31, xb41... Then I tried other stuff and now I hate Sony modern speakers. Now on HK Onyx 7, hyperboom, jbl pulse and see no reason to go back until Sony either go back to good lights and better bass.

Their headphone and earbug lineups used to be top class when it came to overall bass and vocals but just slightly leaning more towards bass, have all of sony’s headphones/earbuds lineups had amazing success with it? No, because now people are wanting that instrument separation, clarity, and less bass. Where as for their speaker setups, its good to have that extra bass, speakers are good for packing a punch while still being able to sound clean, sony’s speakers sound like they have wayyyy too much empty space in it and its not quite getting full. Something sony should focus on other than the playstation and their phones and tvs, is address the problem with their audio products.
I got my partybox 310 for 370$. When i think about the possibility of some poor sap paying 650$ for that bassless kids shit LG it makes me sad. I wouldnt pay 100$ for that pile of shit, let alone 650$.
The amount of deep bass coming from jbl through my headphones is insane compare to the others

I've owned the XP700 and the 310, do not use more than 2 microphones. The 2nd mic is plugged into the guitar port and it sucks.

You just plug the audio cable into the two speakers. But you need an audio out on one speaker

The JBL Partybox 310 has also AAC as codec, I can see it on my Samsung phone that it conects through AAC.
Are you sure about that? Cause I have used multiple android devices with my pb and they always say SBC

Yep. It is not bad. I own it and some JBL speakers. The XBOOM XL7 is not as bad as people are saying. But the price point should be lower.
