So this is the Sony XV800, now personally I like this speaker cause I like its new more mellow sound signature, and it also has an optical port so you can hook it up to your tv which helps make this speaker a little more versatile. Now sony has definitely taken some steps in the right direct with this speaker, but I still have some critiques. But today, we’re going to see how the Sony XV800 stacks up to both the JBL Partybox 310 and the JBL Partybox 710.

I loved this video, whenever I need good information and a good review on a new speaker/headphone product I always go to your channel. I have the Sony XB43 which definitely has more bass than the JBL, but it wasn't enough, so I upgraded to the ultimate ears hyperboom, because I have a small room and it has the right amount of clarity and bass I was looking for.
P.S was all of the speakers vibrating your room.
Great video, I think the PB 710 sounds the best, but it has no battery, which kinda makes it not comparable for me. The PB 310 also sounds more impressive than the XV800, while the XV800 sounds more clear and "hifi-like". But since the XV800 is so expensive rn, it's almost €300 more expensive than the PB310 here, we have to see what the sale prices will be, because its niche is just too small imo.
What really sucks with the Partyboxes is, that you can't connect them wirelessly to your other JBL speakers, which would bring so much more life to your partys if you could place a slave charge/xtreme/whatever on the table(s) and have one master partybox somewhere
U can do that with the Sony too.... U can connect any Sony speaker wirelessy using the party chain or the app and while using the app u can connect up too 50 speakers
Jbl Ultimate coming near end of year, i spoke to the guy working at Jbl and said it will be last speaker to release this year, did you ever pair the 310 to the 710? Do the 710 drown out the 310?

@@R56Cooperi think xb100 isn't meant for loudness. it's small and powerful in it's own way, not the normal bass you hear, but depending where and how you place it, using other objects, you'll feel the bass. me usually during dinner, 50% volume and slow songs, hands on the table feel the shake, personally more than 50% the bass didnt feel much louder. 50% won't bother my families at other rooms. i'm watching this video now with it

310 anyday ! Not being biased , but it is what it is ❤ ! Sony has a different audience altogether , it is for someone with more classic taste , whereas jbl is more in yo face kinda experience !comparing a gentleman to a bully 😂😂😂😂

310s are great one spaced far apart is 710 by itself and I can find area against the wall is a beast if you have two 710s you need a very big area can’t see much for the Sony. It doesn’t have a base output. It sounds good, but it doesn’t compare to either one of the others.

What I find crazy as a musician is that there's a microphone input on the JBL speakers, but it's not XLR... instead, they've decided to use a Jack input, which I don't get it.

I have bought the 310 now, but I cannot seem to get it connect to the app. But bluetooth is working so I can play music. In your video I see big red round lights inside the tweeters and the woofers, but I cannot seem to get that light effect. When using the light button on the speaker it cycles thru all modes, but not this one. Do you need the app for that or something?
Using my skull candy crusher evo 3 headphones you can really hear and feel the difference in the bass between the sony and the jbls.
Well I like this sound stage on the XV-800 to a degree but everything else for the price I just gladly take the 310 over it. Also the Partybox 510 is called the Ultimate and its going to have 2× 10 inch woffers,2× 4 inch midrange drivers and 2× 2 inch tweeters with the total output of 1100 watts. If also futures WiFi,Bluetooth,Apple Airplay,Google Chromecast,Alexa,Dolby Atmos,and Sony's ldac support. Plus it has lights on the side, bottom, phone slot,illuminated control panel and outputs its going to retail around 1300$+ but no built-in battery

@@usernamepleasehere it looks like the same size as the 710 but it's much more powerful it should definitely better than the 1000 but have possibly pess deep bass due to it having no sub. Also the sore is on TH-cam shorts in the JBL booth

Do any of these have a delay in sound when using Bluetooth? I don't know why some manufacturers use Bluetooth technology that has a delay. It makes it impossible to use if you're watching a movie using Bluetooth.
The JBl party box 310 does not have delay and it is great for watching videos.

I have the 110, encore and the 710. The 710 is guaranteed to always put a smile on your face and keep it there.

Sony is always lacking behind with lights , no LEDs inside the Grill , making it look dull , compared with JBL PB speakers , i wonder who designs sonys speakers

Surprisingly in any comparative sound test with JBL speakers, Sony speakers fall short of our expectations in all categories of speakers from the smaller ones to the biggest.
I was very surprised by how muddy the Sony sounded in comparison to even the 310. I just got the 310 and this really informed my purchase. The highs are so crispy on it in comparison.
And those Sony wheels? Trash. They really missed the mark

No and no! Information has leaked that JBL 401 and JBL 501 will be released. The first one will be disassembled and folded like a transformer and fit into a small sports bag. Each block will be played separately. The second one will work from three-phase voltage and it will be possible to charge Tesla with it. The car will be able to travel an additional 100 miles if the backlight and megabas are turned off in Partybox 501.

All genres have deep bass in them from classical to country to rock to rap, but you’ll never hear it in the Sony. JBL all the way. Sony needs to fire their engineers

Yes
Louder maybe, but not more bass. At least not deeper bass. It's like the case with having two Xtreme 3's or a Boombox 3. The former will give you great stereo separation but the Boombox will give you more volume and richer, deeper bass.

Actually used 3.5mm aux out feature last weekend... utilize a pre supplied 710 as a centre speaker with my Chinese made set up, really helped my set up have a breather
710 is not even that loud more like good for 8 to 10 people for outdoor parties, saying from experience 30 to 40 people means alot my dual 15s with 2500watt rms amp struggles to keep up in loud outdoor gathering of 50 plus people,where as in home use my dual 15 literally brings whole 2 to 3 houses to feel earth. Quake

You may be going deaf. Mine is very loud at low volume on my large patio. I'm not game enough to push it to %100 with relationship with my neighbors being good.

A friend of mine is DJ and with a Pioneer controller she uses two 710 in tws for parties below 100 people easily, at large closed spaces and fills all the area with good sound and you can fell it on your chest; she even needed to pass above of 75% volume. Above 100 people she uses two JBL Eons with a single 15" subwoofer.
