Franklin makes the best stud sensors on the market - hands down. Much better than Zircon. Plus, it's the only one that's Made in USA. No more random holes in my walls from false-positives!
Just bought one of these. Put 3 sets of fresh batteries in it and it will not light up. A $2 magnet is finding screws in studs but this unit fails to operate. Am returning for another brand.
@Jayme Franklin Sensor stud finders are designed for find any change in density. That includes pipes and wires. This unit doesn't find electrical wires. If that is an important feature to you I recommend the M150, or our latest and greatest, the M210. You'll love it! That video will be posted in about a week. th-cam.com/video/P3cJi5I-5mc/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for pointing that out. Yes it doesn't find steel studs. Steel is more dense than wood so it will sense it even more deeply. As a for wires, I think you are just used to bad stud finders because if you know where the center and edge of the studs are, you know where the wire is. It is either to the side of the stud or if it is running horizontally through the stud, there will be plates in front of those areas, preventing you from penetrating through the stud and into a wire. If you still want more confirmation about the location of wires, I highly recommend the M210. You'll love it. I hope you have a better day. 🙂

Made in USA is the only reason why I bought this. I know it’ll be good!
How do you install battery it doesn't seem to pop out

This video doesn't tell you the sensor also detects plumbing and electrical wires
Yes, it doesn't
But does it detect wires and steel!!!! Pathetic that you dont state this yet you say its best out there

@@karengarcia1256 well i looked up the m210 and that doesent detect steel… these are so expensive yet not even a all in one device like most
Such a shit design for the battery compartment
