    Eddie's Vedder is a soul singer. Old school. They don't make them like that anymore.

    If you have a broken heart this song crushes you every time.

      I’ve never had a broken heart like this, but it still worms into the cracks of my heart & makes it ache. His passion is transcendent

      Your broken heart can be from a lifetime ago, all tucked away and forgotten, and this song will unpack it and smack you across the face with it.

    The one best word to describe 90's grunge/alternative music: Emotion

    Eddie Vedder is the very definition of Stage Presence.

    “Now my bitter hands cradle broken glass of what was of everything “-gets me every time. So much raw emotion ❤️❤️

    Black is such a beautiful, sad song... Eddie Vedder's voice is so full of emotion.

    thats the whole thing about the so called grunge genre of the 90s, it was all about emotion. . from the raw emotion of nirvana to the more laid out emotion of pearljam and then alice in chains landing somewhere between the two. . eddie vedder of pearljam kurt cobain of nirvana layne staley of alice in chains and chris cornell of soundgarden were essentially the 4horsemen of the movement and the 90s in general. . which also led to a trio of epic best unplugged shows mtv ever put together

    • @gcarap

      And sadly Eddie is the only one still alive :(

    • @symphonyinkart

      Alice in chains and sound garden win! Layne and chris cornell vocalist in particular..

    • @gcarap
      @gcarap 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@symphonyinkart I think it is Vedder and Cornell in a class of their own and then everybody else, mainly because of their uniqueness. Not to take away from Staley as he is great, but there are others that sound close to him.

    • @symphonyinkart
      @symphonyinkart 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gcarap I am deeply offended with ur words (lol), look, everyone has preference. EDDY def deserves respect, but, we all seek for diff things i guess. I have never seen ppl reference layne as sounding like others tho, ever, lol. Which both Eddy and Chris know what league he is in. Even non rock metal ppl hear him and tend to feel and react similar way. Ps; i listen to a lot of older rock, grunge, metal etc, and some modern (given i am born 89'). But, im lucky my parents played a lot of 60/70/80s music...
      But anyway
      Take care

    • @Blizzard0fHope
      @Blizzard0fHope 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@symphonyinkart eddie vedder number 1. . but kurt cobain was the most important. . as he was the one who got the ball rolling

Brent Smith's voice is one of a kind and he propels the song to another level. Big shout to Jolins cross, that girl has a voice. She is a star in the making
