  • Time to feel more planted on the bike by changing the stock with some Touratech, so I did an Offroad course and I wanted to feel more comfortable when standing up! leave a like or a thumbs up and subscribe for more.

Great video. Thanks. Those tubular inserts are a very tight fit. I thought too tight until I watch your vid - Thanks!.

To be honest, I never thought I was gonna get the bloody things to fit but I got there eventually and they were amazing!

Good video 👍👍 I really like the Hp foot pegs for the gs when normal riding you use the rubber and as soon as you stand up the sink in and the metal spikes do there work👍 regards

Thanks for sharing your fitting. I have the same bike with stupidly small stock pegs so swapped them out for a set of SW Motech Ion pegs. My first choice was the ADV1 made by IMS in the States but couldn't source them at the time and also considered the Touratech ones here. I needed a bigger contact patch with my boot to put me 'in touch' with the bike so any larger peg than the original was going to be better. The SW Motech ones let me adjust the height 15mm lower which was a good thing. Touratech make bomb proof kit and those pegs will last you out easily so a good addition to an otherwise 'almost' faultless bike. Nice big peg now for my wife as pillion to use when mounting the bike Bret Tkacs style....

I had the Touratech pegs on my Honda Africa Twin (2016) but swapped back to the factory ones as I got fed up with bashing my legs on them when paddling the bike about and found the rubber inserts to be more comfy as they allowed more ankle movement for braking and gear shifting.

not had that yet Roger, I try not to paddle, usually pushing backwards uphill, needs a reverse gear!

Very good except the vital details were out of camera sight. Otherwise 👍

Does the side stand or your foot touch at the new lowered pegs? Seems to be very close to them when you go for gear change.

Is it any better riding with them on?

I think they are much better than the original pegs

I just bought a Sertao with these pegs. I like them but they are low causing my break pad to rest higher than the pegs.. i fear I may have to sell them
