Love your content man. Very informational. It's absolutely priceless to watch a professional like yourself and be able to take and transfer those skills in my own setting. Thanks again!

Awesome video. My basement stairs were built by the builder without skirt boards, so i was looking how to add them. Thanks for the explanation!

This video will teach a beginner how to build their first set of stairs. Building Stairs isn't Rocket Science...but there are a few rules and procedures that need to be followed to get professional finished results. In this video we discuss these steps. The video is broken up in to 10 Chapters that you can revisit quickly when needed. Thanks for watching! Best ~Eddie

27:49 why these spacers between stringers have to be pressure treated and stringers themselves standing on the concrete don’t have to be pressure treated?

You are such a great instructor.
Question: What's the best way to handle the turned, half steps at the top of the stairs?

    Hi Eddie,
first of all, I just want to say thanks for putting out these videos. I've been binge watching the last few days every chance I get. Your framing video series was a joy to watch, and I got a lot out of them.
I recently bought your basement 2.0 course, but I'm not ready to tackle my project yet, and I probably should comment on there instead, but I just wanted to ask you a question.
I plan on remodelling the whole house eventually and would like to rewire it as I go. I wanted to do my bathroom basement and kitchen first and then the other rooms after. So, have you any advice on the rewiring? For example, if I finished my basement, would it be possible to say finish a bedroom after and rewire it without tearing up my basement?
I am a total novice at this, but your information and another contractor I follow has given me the confidence to go for it. Personally, I was thinking I'd have to rough in the new wiring by just running the wires first from everywhere before I start anywhere.?
I seriously would appreciate any advice you could give to give me a heads up.
Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to learning from you and your course.
    Martin

Thanks for the content. Don’t want to swear on it 7.1875 isn’t that 7 3/16 unit rise?

yes it would be close to 1/16" more, but rounded it down to an 1/8th for simplicity's sake...worked really well for the build. Best ~Eddie
