Swash mechabre/cryo with cowl is the best version of that build, I got a 3.5 minute golden gun Also uhhh body shot damage nerf failed, Swash mechabre still bodies
The trinity ghoul thing happens to me a lot in pve, I think it has something to do with damaging structures, or maybe after getting multiple rapid arc kills, not entirely sure but thought I'd offer my 2 cents
I've noticed that it happens for me if I reload before the arrow has hit a target, I believe it's something to do with the game not knowing if you got a kill yet so assuming you did (potentially to avoid reloading and losing the charge despite getting a kill)
I need this answer: If you buff a thorn user while mark of tye devourer is activate with lumina's noble round, DOES IT BUFF THE POISON DAMAGE? If so, you can have 2 people one on the lumina build and the other on the thorn build. It would be a yin yang duo buld
I was thinking the same thing… I think lumina and radiant stack as well so if we’re going for buffing lumina do: Solar Hunter with radiant dodge Thorn The fragment that gives radiant on knife hits 3 kinetic Surges 2 taps galore 🤩
Soul devour is the only thing that buffs thorns poison damage. And for context its ONLY thorns poison, it does NOT effect the escalating damage necrotic grips does. You can only increase the actual gun damage for weapons of sorrow, as of right now theres no other way to increase the poison damage
@@isaacfuqua7434 Unfortunately Lumina does not stack with Radiant, and it never has. Lumina counts itself as a "Radiant" family buff, despite being 8% stronger.
Even if it doesn’t affect the poison, it would still guarantee a 2 head one body against any resil, and probably still allow for a two tap when you have thorn perk against any resil
Im stupid because i eat uranium cereal Edit: to every1 wondering why i do that, im eating uranium bc im going on a huge bulk tryna be gorlock the destroyer, my idol. 😍
Hello there! Trinity Ghoul PvP main here with some cursed trivia knowledge you can never un-see Did you know that direct hit kills with Gathering Storm do *NOT* proc Split Electron on Trinity ghoul? Because as far as I know, this has never worked, at least not in PvP. If anyone dies to the ground AoE, it procs Split Electron like normal though. It's honestly so frustrating and I think I might be the first and only person to *ever* notices this because who runs *both* Trinity and Gathering Storm in PvP? The answer is me. I do this. Gathering Storm is actually pretty useable now that it's been buffed and with a practised hand Trinity is a menace.
Someone I always find no one mentions about thorn with strand lock is that the poison ticks will send out perched threadlings by itself. 1 shot send out 2 or 3. 2 shots has enough poison to send out all five.
I mean, the catalyst on Trinity Ghoul says "Lightning Rod now triggers from any Arc damage final blow", so it's arc damage period, so long as the weapon is equipped.
Ever since cascade point with trinity was showed off on this channel a couple month ago now I think, I’ve been running it with rapacious appetite with enhanced cascade point for the extra ready while stowed time and arc warlock with sliding and arc souls and getaway artists for both the amplified and better arc soul. It keeps threadlings at bay and the perks play well off each other as the arc kit gives back lightning rod
as someone who mains coldheart on an arc warlock, i can testify to the coldheartedness of the weapon.~ however, ive seen quite a few videos on the pve variant of the coldheart arc lock and I have some notes based on what i suspect are copy pasted errors that said youtubers dont acttually care enough about the build to correct. so, for anyone that sees this and may be interested in trying the coldheart on an arclock, please take this into consideration: First: you don't need spark of ions. Electrostatic mind already gives you traces for defeating jolted enemies, so ions is redundant in the build. Ions is meant for when you don't take electrostatic mind (as insane as that sounds) so you can still trace off the jolt. Second: you don't need spark of magnitude either. Magnitude plus storm grenades are nowhere near as good of a combo as it used to be, and you're gonna be throwing it into the path of oncoming enemies anyways. You won't need the extra duration because most of the time you'll have wiped the rushing add hoard out long before the extra duration ends. As for what fragments I would recommend instead: •Spark of beacons: while you are amplified, your arc special weapon final blows create a blinding explosion. (Spark of brilliance is nice, but you'll find that the vast majority of your kills are going to be body shots.) •Spark of Discharge: arc weapon final blows have a chance to create an ionic trace. (This, coldhearts ability to create one on its own, and Spark of shock combined will mean that you will be practically swimming in traces.) •Spark of Shock: your arc grenades jolt targets. (Does what it says on the box. Lol) •Spark of Amplitude: Rapidly defeating targets while amplified creates an orb of power. (You don't necessarily NEED this one, per se.. I just use it to feed some of my armor mods. As far as exotic armors: quite frankly, it doesn't technically matter. Use whatever supports the rest of your build/ playstyle. However, personally i recommend the mantle of battle harmony. you are gonna be raking in a LOT of traces and orbs of power with this set up. together with armor mods, depending upon how you build this, youre going to be building super energy like no ones business. speaking of armor mods, build it however you wish: but, i HIGHLY recommend at least using 2 harmonic reserves, 2 harmonic loaders, and arc scavenger. after all: moar ammo + moar ammo gained on pick up + faster reload speed= damage go brr.😂😅
It's funny because recently I've been running a weird hybrid of the 2 warlock builds with thorn and necrotic on solar with healing nades and ICC dash lol
A new build I found during Iron Banner is using the new dungeon strand bow with hatchling, hot swapping with fighting lion. Threadling grenades + weavers call paired with the swarmers to generate tangles which are a guaranteed kill with the wanderer. Thread of generation, evolution and rebirth to bolster your threadlings even more then ascent lets you double shoot the fighting lion. A bow headshot allows a single threadling to secure a kill which can explode the rest of the team with that tangle. Or you kill 1 person and 2 threadlings jump out at their teammate next to them. The goal was to combine as many hated things in crucible; bows, fighting lion, and threadlings, which actually ended up being a fantastic build.
I was basically a Destiny pvp noob until last year & I was on the Coldheart train from day one. For whatever reason I was able to slay with it over any other energy exotic, but I rocked it with Get Away Warlock mostly, I'll try the Hunter build, thank you!
they need to redo the HUD for armor charge/buffs. Like split it into 3 sections one with subclass buffs, one with weapon buffs, and one with armor buffs. Then you could actually see what perks you have because rn you can only see like 4 when you could easily have more than that at any given time.
I had a lot of fun this last IB with Behemoth, glacier nade, howl slide, plus a disruption wave frame & Cerberus (of all things!!). It was shockingly effective; if you get the wave to hit right, the Cerberus deletes them instantaneously. And bonus: you barely have to aim 😂
Trinity ghoul has done that ever since the catalyst. I may be wrong due to a lack of proper testing, but the conclusion I arrived at is that getting a precision kill procs the base exotic perk, as well as the catalyst perk, and it just grants 2 charges of lightning rod to use back to back
You can also add a swashbuckler bow to the solar hunter build, as long as you swap before a melee you will proc swash 5 and one shot (or one shot with radiant from torches if using a lightweight)
My cousin and I played a duo build when escalation protocol was active where I used lumina and he used thorn... and it was honestly terrifying seeing the amount of damage thorn can do when buffed up like that.
I think the way trinity is coded you only lose the buff after an arrow doesnt get a kill. If you nock the next arrow before the previous one lands youll keep the buff. Latency ftw.
From memory the catalyst making trinity ghoul strike lightning from arc kills of ANY source allows you to prime one arrow then get an ability kill and have 1 primed in reserve from that. Fairly sure thats how it works but I dont have the time or energy to test this atm.
The extra lightning is a random bug as far as I've seen, I've had it chain like that off of enemies it can't kill in one hit, like a yellow knight with NO other enemies around, and even shooting it at a wall a couple times hitting nothing when I first noticed it would give it back, just seems to give the shot back at random.
I've gotten the trinity glitch SO many times in PvE. I believe it's due to framerate regarding when you nock an arrow and when the shot arrow damages a target. I believe this specific instance has the game register a certain damage threshold as a kill thus either reprocing the perk, or preventing it from leaving.
with the cryo build since you'll have radiant a lot you can use a stasis weapon surge to 3 tap to the head with cryo (if your gonna do this then you should run stacks on stacks and a time dilation)
i like to be the support warlock. i run boots of the assembler, but not lumina cause im not a fan handcannons. same goes for the strand build, i used to run necrotic grip for pvp, but again not a fan of handcannons. so never tried it with thorn. i might try it again soon since ive gotten better in pvp
so yknow snap cancelling on solar warlock? i love doing that, keeping up the melees with claws of ahamkara and meming aroudn with ticuus divination + shotgun. so very fun -strawbunga
i think the reason trinity ghoul doesn't loose lightning rod is for the same reason severance enclosure works for unpowered melee. knockout (arc), offensive bullwork(void), and roaring flames(solar) all have damage boost that for some reason activate severance enclosure, so i'm thinking it may work for multiple subclasses instead of it only working on arc if you tried trinity ghoul
Severance enclosure procs for arc solar and void as each have a melee aspect that converts their base melee to an elemental infused melee making it count as a powered melee
The Trinity Ghoul bug happens in PVE too. No idea why it does it. Sometimes it'll have multiple lightning procs even if you shoot the ground without any enemies nearby at all.
I think it has something to do with rapid arc kills, I notice sometimes it just stockpiles 1 extra charge after a kill or occasionally gives me credit for an arc kill I didn't do as I'm firing
ive gotten the trinity bug in pve before. i was just spamming arrows into a corner because i was confused lmao. managed to get it to proc 3 times without an arc kills. Unfortunately, i was ever able to recreate it.
I'm watching your videos these last couple of months and those are who made me subscribe to your channel! Really nooooice videos mate! And even more noooice commentary! Nice job mate! Thank you also for your videos the've been real useful to me!
Funny thing about these random bugs, my friend had the stasis auto rifle crait, with a kinetic for some odd reason both his kinetic siphon and surge mods buffed his weapon, it was really odd and I explained to him that it made no sense amd doesnt work...je proved me wrong by streamers it, his game was just bugged and it did that fir him for 2 whole seasons before his game dev errored and it stopped working 😂
Having used Trinity Ghoul extensively, I know that it will sometimes not care about not having killed something and just keep the lightning effect. Why? I cannot say.
This is kinda unrelated to the video, but does anyone else feel like the Light subclasses are just waaaay better in pve than the darkness ones? Like, cool, you can freeze Cabal and suspend Tormentors. Big deal. Watch me incinerate an ENTIRE room of scorn by snapping my fingers like a badass, or throw a delicious grape-flavored shield with malicious intent at mach 4 towards a Taken Minotaur, or become One Punch Man after dodging to just completely eviscerate a Servitor and all the Fallen around him. Anyone else?
Why not run the two warlock builds in the same team? Become gods of death for the blueberries on the other team by ravaging them with the grasps of the necrotic thorn, amplifying its devastation with the lumina.
Hey, I’ve been a PoS since the beginning of the season with Thorn and Explosive Personality with auto loading and Disruption Break. I didn’t need you to tell me it was good.

yea it happens with me in pvp too, it has to deal with being an arc subclass though, as I've had it happen on my warlock
I notice it also happens sometimes if I miss a shot entirely
I believe if you have the perk active and get a arc ability kill it stores a charge for some unholy reason
I've noticed that it happens for me if I reload before the arrow has hit a target, I believe it's something to do with the game not knowing if you got a kill yet so assuming you did (potentially to avoid reloading and losing the charge despite getting a kill)

Trinity ghoul does that sometimes, it’s a semi rare glitch

Gyrfalcon void hunter with telesto is very fun, you can het cross map kills easily

the 65+ y/o lad watching TDT vids be like "ah yes, the green thingies, they grow up fast"
What is the rating on the hunter build at the end?? 🤔
Hey question, what if instead of lightweight because it kinda already has the radiant fragment we run proximities with calibans hand
Explosive knives don’t kill a frozen enemy if they’re above like 3/4 health :/ kinda unfortunate
@@donkulator thanks for the info
"7 archangels out of 9 circles of hell"? Did High Boi write these ratings?
Ive had the trinity ghoul keep the perk when not getting kills i think it just weird registration or something it happens sorta regularly
Does the super thing work with 0 intellect? I’m working hard to get it to 1
IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE????!!!!
"I was getting supers faster then the comment section corrects a spelling mistake"
WOAH. now THAT'S fast.
Another great video
The IRS joke got me good at my meeting 🤣
for the arc build i us ex dris and a smg
Ok the Geiko joke got me.
But I already use the lumina disruption break combo...
I forfeited my humanity whenever i click crucible btw i put threadling spam with the thorn. I know the deepest pit of hell has opened up, and i jumped in.
Taking more notes
So uh. If I mentioned I had a Hunter Sweet Busines build that can handle anything short of GMs who'd be interested? (Honestly I'd just love to hear these dapper boys talk about it)
There is no Trinity Ghoul arc arrow bug. 🤫
Ive been doing bs with the starnd build for months, and now everyone can use it 😢
Thorn/Necrotic build only works in potato lobbies…
Lumina Lucky pants void hunter
trinity bug happens a lot its easier to find in pve
Let’s go what will I do this week?
I was in a lot of these matches
