Interesting video! The Hempback sounds darker and raw. The A-type sounds "cleaner", a bit more transparent. I really enjoyed the heavy riffs and sounds. Please make some more comparisons like this. I need to know how a speaker sounds if you play baritone and low tuned guitars for doom, stoner, any style of metal and heavy stuff. 🤘

YES FINALLY! Someone doing drop tunings on these Hempbacks. Been wanting to get these for a hardcore band just because, but I wasn't sure if they would really work well for them. While it's not the distortion I would choose. I can tell these Hempbacks wanna chug. I'm excited.

What kind of distortion would you use? In the room, we're generally happy with the tone, but must admit that when we listen back (JM47 track) it doesn't pack much of a punch...

@@BarefacedAudio Well I'd just be going for heavier tones for a more east coast hardore kinda vibe. Please don't think I was implying the tone was bad, but a bit grundgy or more doom-like from how it sounded in the video. Idk what pedals you were using but I wanna pair it with a TS-808 and honestly I think it would work really well because they obviously can chug lol.
Edit: also I'd like to add in the riff was pretty sick too
      🤘

Plenty of marijuana references in here.
