@@CivicR18Story nice bro. I want to swap mine. It’s an auto. Not sure if it’s worth it. Did you get the regular 5 speed that usually comes with the r18 or did you get a 6 speed. And did you do it your self or did you bring it to a shop
@@twistedinsanee Mine is a 5speed, you can do it yourself. But you must have all the parts, including the ECU, th-cam.com/video/bS8XdBcLfrI/w-d-xo.html
@@CivicR18Story Thank you for your feedback! I really cannot decide which one to go. But, what was the issue using MT-85 and MT-90 if I may ask..? Redline recommends MTL but all my mechanics say to go with the MT-90.. my transmission is rebuilt twice already all from using the wrong transmission oil. 2nd and 3rd gear is always an issue.
How did you know you need to change the transmision oil?
Being hard to shift, Normally change every 40,000km, but i changed every 1 year.(about 10,000km)
I thought you had an auto did you trans swap or just got a new civic
Transmission swap bro

Would you recommend Redline MTL/MT-85/MT-90?
@@Electronica193 MTL
@@CivicR18Story Ok. Have you tried any other than Redline MTL?
@@Electronica193 I have tried both mt85 and mt90. In the end, MTL is the best for honda stock gear ratios.
