what bulk brace are you using?
How do you have your valve cover breather filter set up, and what exhaust header are you using?
what front and rear sway bar sizes are you using and how much is the car lowered?
is it okay to install headers without tune or does it require tune?
No tuning required
@@CivicR18Story no need to adjust the AFR?
@@ivanreiburgos7314 You just remove the battery. Leave it overnight. It is a reset of the ECM. After that you can use the car normally. The car will start a new datalog for the ECU.

Hi bro, manual R18 civic driver here from Malaysia. I’m just curious with an open pod intake and straight exhaust system, do you recommend to change my stock throttle body into k24 one? Would it have huge impact on the performance? And would it affect my fuel efficiency? Thanks a lot!

do u know how to remove the abs and brake light? we have similar problem here.
I removed the ABS control fuse to cancel the abs system.

How does your rpm reach 8k rpm? Mine only goes 6.8k rpm
Reflashing ECU using hondata flashpro.

Hi sir again follow up only hard to find engine block selling r20 parts or assembly in Philippines. Wondering the r20 crankshaft , pistons n connecting rods are plug n play for an r18a bottom end . If say plug n okay is it necessary for the crankshaft to be balanced, ?
Only used an R20 crankshaft and connecting rods and put them into an R18.
Is it better Sir with your previous intake. Hm power gains iwith a velocity. Intake . Btw why are u not using a weapon r intake manifold. Saw all your videos but wondering why no intake manifold upgrade. As u mentioned 180 whp is it par with a stock fd2r or still day n night difference tia
I like the R18's variable length intake manifold. It can increase torque both low and high rpm 👌

@@v.eusebio2556 I think it's suitable for turbo. Or if you want to use NA only at high rpm then that is also suitable.
Btw last query if I would do the same intake yours with a velocity . Which mods would gain more an SI throttle body or SI fuel injectors 310cc would make more gains tnx n more videos from you . Also what’s the purpose of the mini air filter , if not mistaken that is our fd EGR.,
@@v.eusebio2556Si throttle is better, Mini air filter for reducing positive pressure under the piston.

The temperature there is too high. You must find a way to get cold air to the filter.
Great, thank you. I installed a pipe to catch air from the front of the bumper into the engine bay. It helped a little.
Hey brother, I'm a big supporter of yours. I always come to check out your build. I got the Injen Cold Air Intake for my 9th Gen R18 over a year ago. It works very well & I just suggest getting the hydro shield also so you don't hydro lock the motor. I've hit 2 big puddles of water on rainy days and it wasn't good, so the hydro shield is a must. In cooler temperatures here during our Fall, Winter & early Spring, the car runs fantastic. If you ever get rid of the SRI and want to go CAI, I think it would be a good option for you. @@CivicR18Story

also noticed your voltage controller I have one on my fd civic but the car dies every once a while with it hooked up does that happen to you ever?
My country is quite hot when running, intake air temp around 30-40°C

Do you have a plan to change your intake manifold? I’ve seen the weapon R intake manifold for honda r series engine and based on the description on their website, it can potentially increase the whp around 8-10 whp.
I think the OEM's are suitable because they have a adjustable valve in the intake manifold.
There's a company I found called CNC Innovations who makes 2 Intake Manifolds for the R18. Not sure how legit of a company they are, but from their website the parts look like quality pieces. If anyone knows, let me know. Just over $1000.00 each, but if the quality is better than the Weapon R, might be worth it.

You will probably need to use the manual transmission wiring harness and the ECU.

What RPM does your IMRC set from long to short? do you know what the stock setting?
Stock is 5100rpm, But I changed it to 4600rpm
