Aqara hands down is my favourite smart home hardware company, had their stuff for years, really reliable, really flexible and really good value for the price.
I’m not sure why but I haven’t been able to find a p1 motion sensor for a few months now, love this company so far. Thinking about switching my ring for the Aqara video doorbell
The P1 was still available on amazon when I started making the video, but it looks like it is out of stock pretty much everywhere. It is not discontinued so hopefully more will be available soon
This is a great straight forward video, I agree with your opinion. Have you experienced the restrictions Aqara puts on Apple Home when setting up Apple Home automations. Would love to see your thoughts.
Yes, aqara products work great with the Homey Pro! You can see which aqara devices are compatible in the Homey app store. Homey is definitely and easier solution for automating your home than home assistant and hubitat.
Just relax. I have lots of Aqara devices, and have had it for a number of years, and note that it is not a high-end home monitoring or control, it is only a toy, and nothing else. Buy 8 thermostats and 8 room sensors, connect the sensors to the thermostats in the thermostat setup. I will guarantee that you retract all your words of praise.

@@DIYSmartHomeGuy1I’ve been looking for a couple weeks
Nice coverage on Aqara. I have the Camera P3 hub, can it do everything like the M2 hub which you covered in this video, like matter devices? Thanks!
I have not tested it yet, but matter was release to the G3 camera hub in August.

Aqara's Matter implementation is the only one that has been working pretty much flawlessly for me. That's one more reason to give them my money.
great to hear!
The Apara P1 is the only motion sensor that allows u to adjust the cool down time
Several Aqara products mentioned are not available now!
Did my video drive so many sales that they sold out?
Does Aqara works with the Homie Pro? If so, is it a better replacement for home assistant and hubitat without learning to code?

@@DIYSmartHomeGuy1 Cool but I don't know if I can justify that price tag. I guess it's a price to pay for something that really works, huih?
aqara zigbee device are well made and stable AF and are compatible with Z2M i hope they ditch their region specific use ps: avoid tuya at all cost
They have been great for me so far

Teby have e1 thermostat
I could never get their stuff to work on my network. So much promise.
'Promo SM' 😻
What's going on with the m3 hub? The first video for it came out last year, and it's still not available.
I have no insider information, but at CES they said it would be launched this spring
