The BMPCC4K. The production camera is a few years old now and i've had to replace mine two times because of a horrible fixed pattern noise that ruined two full shoots.
I bought a Production 4k as a tester when looking at the Ursa Mini 4.6k. I wanted to play with the workflow, etc. I really liked the 12 bit RAW so I sold it and bought the 4.6k. Unfortunately, BM came out with the Pro version 6 months later. Currently I have the Mini 4.6 and 2 pocket 4k's. Now for your answer. I would not buy the production 4k over the pocket 4k for one simple reason.... 4:1 Raw. The Production 4k can only record uncompressed RAW and the files are HUGE. If you can live with 4:2:2 Prores, then ok. Also, the monitor on the Production 4k is hard to read. I haven't had any trouble with the Pocket 4k screen including daylight. The build quality of the Production 4k is like a tank vs the Pocket 4k feels like a Kia. Time will tell on that one.

Very good video we did similar battery adaptor for the BMPCC 4K cameras we own, except we add small and cheap voltage regulator to be able using with any V-lock Batteries and other "easy to find" battery. Further we buy a M.2 raid 1 card to SATA adaptor to build a customer external drive that offer includes safe backup solution. This kind of cards are cheap ,safe and easy to find. For this custom raid ssd we just 3d print the case to fit in smart way on ours Cage.

The factory wall plug will have a diagram on it showing which part of the barrel is pos and which is neg. from there you can probe the wire and figure out which wire is pos and which is neg.

No way. Don't take this video the wrong way the A7iii is incredible. It's apples to oranges. There are serious trade offs with this camera that make it very questionable on who this camera is for.

It looked to me like he was using a Mac in the shots where he was at his desk. Macs come with an optional library of text-to-speech voices, including English-speaking ones in various accents. Having just checked the preview in my speech preferences, I can confirm the voice he's using is named Karen. There are a couple different methods to have any arbitrary bit of text rendered out as computer-generated speech and saved as a sound file, which can then be imported into his video project. I'm sure there must be similar software out there for Windows, if it doesn't already have that feature built in!
i watched countless bm4k videos. and yours is the best! ( just after proav tv. ) fast brief and to the point. i especially liked the memory card tip. never heard about the overheating issue.
Really cool review and quite different !! Love this cam, been shooting for a while with it now so I was wondering how you can record 4K 60 Raw for 26 minutes though ? Unless you mean in raw 3:1 and UHD. I have 3 of the T5 SSD and none of them can record 4K 60 Raw properly.

I love the format of your video and the back and forth with the computer voice. When it gets to longer sentences and explanations, I believe your voice would be easier to follow, though. Thank you four this video. I started playing around with mine a few days ago. I'm very impressed with it, but the absence of a double slot recording, together with reliability issues freak me out for any paid gigs. I believe I will pair it with a ninja V recorder at some point so that I can get double recording. Also, if I will ever use it on a paid gig, I'd probably have 2 extra in the bag. Keep it up!

neat focus hack. Thanks. I bought the GH5s instead, though I might still switch to Olympus in the coming months. I'm not big into colour correction, but rather stealthy run and gun. I'll just use my smartphone for that I guess for now, when gimbal+ GH5s fails me.
Ive been doing filming with my cell a gimbal, some polorizers in the summer and a few other things such as a wide angle external lense etc. Ive found a lot of inspiration from ppl such as Peter Mckinnon, and Matti Hipoja to name a few. I own a martial arts Academy and create on a regular basis. I can say for sure from my perspective that you may be you tubes best kept secret. This level of film making is ultra high and I am very impressed & inspired. Great Job my friend! I want to learn what u know! Lol

@@eladbari it's not about that it will fill up that card. Buffer will not hold. Wolfcrow was looking at formats and media.

What extras? the extras cost the same as on every camera. For indie filmmakers its amazing for run and gun, its bad. that's why they called it a cinema camera.

Now that's the infotaiment I can watch all day.. keep up the good work man, found your channel when you had few thousand subs and I after watching the first video (A7 III low light) instatly though to myself that this is the million+ subs content and you will rule the "video making tips and reviews game" on TH-cam soon! :) With each new episode you somehow manage to crank the creativity up even more (that rescueing the wedding movie or burning man movie episodes, not to mention the real estate vidoes... pure creative gold!), dropping some unique content! :)

neat focus hack. Thanks. I bought the GH5s instead, though I might still switch to Olympus in the coming months. I'm not big into colour correction, but rather stealthy run and gun. I'll just use my smartphone for that I guess for now, when gimbal+ GH5s fails me.
Ive been doing filming with my cell a gimbal, some polorizers in the summer and a few other things such as a wide angle external lense etc. Ive found a lot of inspiration from ppl such as Peter Mckinnon, and Matti Hipoja to name a few. I own a martial arts Academy and create on a regular basis. I can say for sure from my perspective that you may be you tubes best kept secret. This level of film making is ultra high and I am very impressed & inspired. Great Job my friend! I want to learn what u know! Lol
