Im in recovery and i truly understand what hes saying in this song. He isnt happy sober and none of us are but we have to do it for ourselves, our children etc. Ive been his fan for over 15 years. I feel in my soul all of his lyrics from dancegavindance, emarosa, his solo work, isles and glaciers, and slaves. I just love how honest and open he is about singing about use and recovery.

I have been a fan of Jonny's for years and I always will be.
