Ceci Kahn he did die in the swimming pool when he was a baby which is honestly crazier. His mom started performing CPR and was able to get him breathing again when the paramedics came.
Shayne in podcasts is like this extremely wise and knowledgeable psychologist with a lot of life experience meanwhile shayne in try not laugh be like HAHA POOP LOL
This has been one of my favorite episodes of the SmoshCast. Courtney is right when she says that fans love learning more about you guys. Please continue making more episodes like this. I'd also like to make a suggestion for a possible future topic to discuss on the podcast. I would love to see a SmoshCast (or a series of Smosh Pit videos) where you guys discuss and tell stories about former Smosh shows like Day Jobs and Smosh & Order. Some shows have been briefly spoken of in previous Smoshcasts, but I really want to know about the creation, production, and what you really thought about those shows. Like why did Day Jobs only last a few episodes? What was it like filming with those businesses? How did Nick Uhas get involved in Smosh Labs? What was the preparation like for filming Smosh & Order? These unanswered questions keep me up at night.
It’s a legitimate fear, I think it is Thalassophobia or something. I definitely have it, but I love being at the beach up to my shoulders. Pools are fine.
@@Hoopzenator thats a really easy thing to have a strong fear of though? And phobias are more serious like, id imagine someone with thalassophobia would legitimately struggle to swim in the ocean..?
When Damien brought up anime my ears perked up, and when Shayne talked about Promised Neverland I was like "LET'S GET IT!!!" Everyone should watch Promised Neverland, its SO GOOD!!!
Whoa, I didn't know that Shayne was that close to having his degree, that's awesome! If all goes well, I'll be done with classes too in just a couple months
Every week they talk about the podcast running out of time.....then make them longer. Who is going to complain. Can literally listen to them talk for 10 hours. And I have. I listened to multiple podcasts back all day once. Would anyone object to longer podcasts? And just let them end organically?
why is this foursome the most endearing, sweet, charming and hilarious group of friends ever?? i seriously love these 4 so much, their dynamic is just really something else. it's so genuine and they seem to really have such sincere friendships and deep bonds with one another. it's just awesome. idk. i love it. and i love them. :')
I like Ian waaaay more now cause of this vid. I would actually suggest doing a series where Ian goes around coffee places and doing either vlog stuff or a semi-informative just because of the refreshing look Ian had when talking about coffee. The saying "Passion is sexy" in TH-cam means more like "Passion is entertaining to watch".
I love hearing you guys talk about your passions and interests and would love to see more! Getting to know more about you guys is always a treat! A few of my passions are art, architecture (since i'm studying it), design, writing/poetry, music, film/cinematography, and puzzles/riddles. I also wanted to mention how awesome this comment section is! just love and support and quoting funny moments
I commented on the highlight that I love when people talk about what they are passionate about, and that’s what this entire podcast is about. I don’t think I have ever been more in love with these four human beings
Smosh cast seriously is the best thing to come to Smosh in a long time. Ive enjoyed every podcast start to finish and I would love for this to keep going for a long time! Keep up the good work guys!
I didn’t realize how much we all share in common. 😁 I always feel like no one else will understand if I talk about something I like but you guys all named stuff I enjoy. 🥰

I really enjoy the SmoshCast podcasts. I’m so glad you guys do this. I loved hearing the stories behind your favorite things. It gives more insight into who you are as people and what you care about. Please do another episode of this.
I watch every one of these and I seriously would listen/watch this for 4 hrs. I love hearing y'all just talking about what your passionate about it's really inspiring
Honestly one of my weirdest passions is probably medical history, just learning how bad we messed up treating diseases and the crazy stuff we thought either helped or caused illness. It’s fascinating to see how people in the past perceived a disease outbreak and how they tried to fix it versus what we know works now/knowing how disease actually spreads.
this is the #1 podcaast on the internet. i have a super long playlist of just smoshcast and i listen to all the episodes several times. i love this please make more and ones like this are perfect. all of my fave ppl are in this video.

I really appreciate that Ian is willing to poke and prod Damien as a friend. Sometimes I feel like it is far too easy to shut yourself off from discomfort, but in order to make any changes in your life you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone. And like Damien I also feel like such friendly pushes are awful, but they are clearly done from the perspective of trying to help.

oh a clever corps name drop. yeah there are quite a few people in our clever corps community are thinking of going into voice over so dames does occasionally give advice and perspective on it. we are proud of our boi, and we know he supports us as much as we support him.
I had a relative who was the official coffee blender/taster for a major brand back in the 60s and 70s. His tastebuds were so delicate/fine that he'd be used to blend the beans to get the same taste each year. Rose up to VP.
I was thinking about switching my major about a month ago but I was confused on what I should do. I randomly stumbled upon this episode and rewatched it. Shayne talking about psychology gave me the push I needed to switch my major to psychology. I know that there is a very little chance for Shayne reading this but if you are, thanks for inspiring me. 😊
Shayne: almost dies drowning in a pool
Also Shayne: Guys I just love the ocean and water
Ceci Kahn he did die in the swimming pool when he was a baby which is honestly crazier. His mom started performing CPR and was able to get him breathing again when the paramedics came.
Emma Woods well I almost drowned in a pool but now I’m scared
No I’m joking I don’t get scared that way but I usually swim.
It's the Batman origin! lol
Sounds like Stockholm syndrome

Maybe a podcast,
Damien and Anime,
I'd listen to it.

she did dye it! i actually really like courtney’s hair
Right
oh my gosh-
smosh DEFINITELY needs to make a video of them camping...
that’s a yes from me
Amazing how Ian talked about Parasite as an art unknown film and it went all the way to the best film at the Oscars!
courtney’s “eating out” bit got me💀💀
Andrea :0 I don’t get it:(
Hackram maybe it’s better it stays that way then
@@Andrea-ml3pe agreed😂😂😂
Personalities i get from this video:
Ian - uncle dad
Shayne - brawn and surprisingly brains
Damian - gentle giant
Courtney - ~feminine~ touch
I really relate to Damien with having that fear of vast dark 'empty' spaces like the ocean, but still enjoy swimming
