I have been watching your videos for about the last year. It has gotta me the attention from the person over intake in grad chapter i am expressing interest in. Thank you! ❤
Hi! I’ve been wondering this one question and i dont know if you answered this in a video. Who do you recommend i get recommendation letters from? People outside of the university that are in the fraternity Im thinking about joining or people in the school’s organization?
I have a grad chapter question: I'm a single mom and the organization i am interested in sometimes have events they co-sponsor, like public speaking events, in which I have brought my little one. My daughter is Typically quiet, and many of the members always say she's cute etc. I do not bring her to all events, just things where they are on weekday and it's a school night. Does this look bad as far as the org believing I am too occupied with my family? I see it as a good thing because I'm not making excuses to show up to as many events as I possible. Just looking for your opinion/thoughts.
One of the positive things about graduate membership is that you’re dealing with professional women. From my experience, it is comforting to know that there are other people in your chapter with other obligations, so having a family is not uncommon or viewed as a bad thing. I do encourage you to be upfront about your availability and time commitment because it will be affected.
@@KelsTells this is so refreshing to know. I will definitely be upfront about my time and commitment. I really enjoy this chapter because they always tell me when events are upcoming, how they always speak to everyone, and they return emails.
Thank you for continuing to make videos!
