@@novaday8813 I’m really happy you can relate to the blitz angler bond. I’ve made some of my best fishing friends through blitzes. It opens conversation and all good vibes. Appreciate the comment novaday, thank you
The Kastmaster is the most versatile lure of all time. I’ve used tiny 1/12 to 1/8 oz ones in trout streams in Colorado to big 2 oz ones in Montauk. Great videos, happy fall run👍
A hammered stainless Hopkins jig is the equal of a Kastmeter, perhaps even slightly preferable. Tiny ones work for panfish, small/medium for trout and mackeral, and big ones for stripers, blues, tuna, whatever. If you were going to pluck me down anywhere in the world to fend for myself and I could only bring one fishing lure, it would be an appropriately sized Hopkins or Kastmaster.
I haven't really explored it much honestly, just some hiking trips. Beautiful area just a little out of reach for me. Appreciate you watching the videos samdavies8564! Thank you
Oh yeah, when they are on the feed you can experiment for sure. Top water is a blast. There was just so many I didn't wanna break off anything expensive. Thank you for watching hman7236
Wow talk about a feed! Way to be there at sunrise and find that, if you forced me to only pick 1 lure and go to unknown random place to catch fish kastmaster would be it
They were chewing! Feel bad for the peanut bunker, what a life. I feel that, It's kinda in the same class as a buck tail, once you gain confidence in it they always produce. Thank you for watching Peter
What up AZ! Lotta blues for sure. I haven't been bringing ice with me to the beach lately. Just a lot to lug around but I was totally eyeing a couple of those up for breakfast. That size is great eating
Thank you for watching Yappow. Yeah you can totally take the bus to the beaches anywhere along the Atlantic Ocean. The bait is in pretty close to shore and it might take some searching but the blues are all over
I love fishing with all my heart but man it get my blood up when people see you catching then they ask are they bitting and stand right next to you 😂😂😂😂
I feel the same, that is a great eating size. I have really been enjoying frying bluefish lately. Grill and bake is great but with that deep fry hits the spot. Maybe not the healthiest choice
hey! I would totally walk the ocean side beaches early morning and late afternoons. I bet you'll stumble onto a feed. They're all in pretty close to shore and you'll see the birds/bait splashing
He said it was High tide during the video. But If you only have a 2pm window to fish, then what does it matter which tide he was fishing during the video?
Have fun out fishing Saturday! I fished an entire tide cycle but only edited this tiny portion into the TH-cam video. They kinda showed up randomly for a short window
Sorry really new to fishing. Clicked on the Amazon link to the kastmaster but it looks a little different than yours. Yours had a red tail that the hook went through. The Amazon one has a different type of tail. You think it’s just as effective?
@@Intensification no need to apologize! Ask whatever. I linked that one because it’s the one in the thumbnail and was fishing with it too. Only difference is the bluefish shredded the bucktail hair off in the thumbnail one. If you want the red surgical tail you can order direct from the Acme site. Bass pro might sell them too but I get them direct from Acme. But to answer your question, it’s totally just as effective. I prefer the bucktail version because the striped bass like it better, the bluefish like the green/red surgical trailers a lot
Good morning ! Today is Sunday October 6,2024. Which two size acme kastmaster spoons you would recommend me to buy please. I will be doing nothing but casting from the bank that’s all I will be doing. And I will be casting for shells crawler and red ear and bluegills and crappies and trout please. Can you please do a catch and cook trout TH-cam video from your home using the acme kastmaster spoon lures please 👍 ! I will be waiting on your respond back with answers 🙏
hey Santiago, it depends on the size of the epoxy but 1/0 or 2/0 covers most of them. I'd go 2/0 for the 7/8th oz and 1oz size. The smaller 1/4oz ones I will sometimes size down to 1/0 or even smaller for presentation.
Man, I have been using your setups all along the same spots in the East river but can't even get a nibble! I don't know what I'm doing wrong! Biggest difference is that I'm going after work in the afternoon/evening. Any advice?
@@BobAquatic Thanks! Yes, I've been trying that - particularly around the esplanade. Any specific technique while in the water? You get fish on so fast sometimes it's hard to tell!
@@gabepaez9938 what up Gabe! It’s a 7’ medium heavy. I like shorter rods but everyone fishes a little different. Do what feels right, easy to pickup a few at a tackle shop and feel what’s best, ask them if you can put a reel on it to feel the balance
