The school gym will be a buzzing hub of aerial activity, as Westminster High School and Westy PD jointly present the first-ever Community Drone Day. The event promises to feature a wide range of activities, including fan-favorite drone soccer, surveillance demonstrations, virtual reality experiences, flight simulations and much more. This event is free and open to all ages! Whether you are new to drones or an experienced pilot, you won’t want to miss this event. The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Westminster High School, 6933 Raleigh St.

You hit the nail on its head with your last point.
Ive been there where something has been a hobby which was fun and then when it turned to a business, absolutely detested it as it wasnt fun. As I tried my best to have fun but the more I tried, the worse I became. Its one reason why I'm contemplating whether I should turn the drone thing into a part time business or just keep it as a hobby.
Never ask someone with a ton of experience a simple question.
Florida just banned police and fire departments from using DJI drones next month and they are angry. Is there opportunity there for private pilots?
Edit: there is most likely going to be a lot of good used DJI drones for sale from police auctions soon if you are looking.
I've made a few dollars selling drone footage in a stock house.... Shooting stock gives you the freedom to film many things in many places...
I have about an hour and a half of footage compiled over the years. Just about to launch my own set of stock footage both FPV and conventional drones.

Great conversation guys. Finding that enjoyability / business balance is key. Trying to find that right now. I've been flying since... well, your inception! and I'm trying to niche down and figure out what to dump my time, effort, money, into right now. Trying to figure out what I want to wake up and be doing, working toward.

I am trying to find a drone that will take Spherical Panoramas and AEB / HDR automatically.
I understand the Litchi app will do this but only for older drones. I am going to use your answer to choose my next drone. 😊
Mini 3 pro, can do all that without any third party software and you'll be able to find a used one on the cheap right now.
