If everyone stays healthy on the Oilers, I don't see a particular scenario where they don't finish 1st in the division. Sure, they could have a sophomore jinx with their new coach and their goaltending could let them down, but my guess is, they have the offensive firepower and enough defensive structure to win the division. It's entirely possible, though, that Vancouver finishes 2nd, but Vegas may have something to say about that. I take nothing for granted. And all the criticism of Pettersson is unwarranted. He had a bad finish to the season, including the playoffs, but we know he can play in the playoffs, and 85 points for any player not named McDavid is not a bad season.
