  • We harvest our annual garlic and pepper crop from the garden before winter hits. Homemade pita pockets stuffed with moose and topped with fresh ingredients cooked over a campfire makes for the perfect fall meal at the cabin.
We appreciate you tagging along for our Alaskan adventure 😀

I feel like a slacker when I watch how hard you two work, and the effort that you put into your meals!

I had a good chuckle when y’all had the conversation about which bucket is the chicken bucket.🤣

Delicious looking dinner, as usual. Ever thought of putting together a cookbook - you could do a journal of meals for one year and then organize it into a seasonal cookbook of sorts, showing the food before you process it and then the gorgeous finished dish.

I'm from the Midwest, surrounded by corn fields, and I've never seen Alaskan grown corn until now. Considering your climate, I would be proud of it too. I'm super impressed that you grow tomatoes. I follow some other Alsakan homesteaders, and many don't even attempt it. Bravo!

I couldn't stop giggling when Ariel threw the first pita in the pan and remarks oh it's so hot, maybe too hot...then proceeds to blow on the flames!!?? Love you both so much for the life you are living and sharing with us pavement grunts!

I live 2 blocks from north and south bound HWY 99 in Bakersfield California. This time of year farmers up and down California are harvesting onions and garlic among every thing else. At night the air is cooler and still. The 18 wheelers are transporting onion and garlic all night and we can smell the fresh garlic and onions. It smells so good. Of course truck loads of peaches, oranges, lemons, limes even tomatoes buy the truck load can have wonderful aroma. Always enjoy your channel. Thank you.

Even when you aren't as pleased with your harvest, y'all still have the most beautiful garden on TH-cam. I feel so accomplished after watching y'all work so hard. Feeling pretty good about myself here...😂 Thanks for that!

You should grind up all the corn stalks and immature ears and turn it into silage for your chickens.
