My dad died today. In his last days we played "No More Jockeys". His brain was still sharp even though cancer had ravaged his body. I also taught the game to my brother's family. They had to high tail it back to Victoria (Australia) by midnight due to COVID border closures. They got stuck in traffic for hours at the border and also in a COVID testing queue the next day. They amused themselves playing this game. Thank you Alex Horne and Co!
You did good buddy. I was in traffic at the Vic border around then, just as the border shut. Made it through before things got too hectic. Still trying to convince my partner of the joys of the game... it's the banter she's lost on. I try, and I try... she looks at me like I'm mad. Oh well. Each to their own eh.
@@franksimon8375 Calling someone's account of their father's death "drivel" and "lies" seems sociopathic to me. Why even comment and draw attention to what a lowlife you are?
So very sorry for your loss... What a beautiful thing to share with someone so close, and I'm sure he cherished those moments so much. Hope you've healed with time and are in a better place! NMJ forever!
In the last Horne section podcast Horne describes Key as a genius, in the same breath as Hanz Zimmer is to the world of film scores. In this episode Tim doesn’t know animals or his name.
Tim is absolutely a genius. I think he chose to play a buffoon in this show and I'm so glad he does. It takes a true genius to realize what's truly important in life and sometimes that's simply laughter. I adore the man.
I have no idea what either of those ate based on their names, as an American (the real heroes of Britcom, because if it were up to you soft babies it would be German)
Key is clearly a man of the winter months, a machine in lower temperatures, I hope that Timothy can continue to not be pathetically useless at this game for 2021.
Classic Key, instantly forgets 3 categories, puts himself in despite having a bang bang name, argues it's not his name, forgets to stamp an envelope. We've all done it.
From below the line I'd just like to say thank you for these videos, it's been a terrible year globally and in some ways personally but these videos have been a light in the darkness, over!
Horne + Key being short of 30 and making it up with dollars and euros, while Watto just chucks in an extra tenner is incredibly true to character all round
I'd just had a conversation about the importance of finding some joy in the current madness that is the world today. NMJ is most definitely that for me.
Congratulations Watto on your well fought win. It's great to see you entering this new year in full force. I pray Horne and Key can keep up in future bouts, because as it's looking, you might just take all of 2021.
Mark Watson, I loved your book, Contacts. So lovely to read, the story flowed nicely, and I was surprised at the ending! Definitely recommend it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I initially thought Alex has dyed his hair pink! I so hope greg would shout at him and make him clean the dye during their banter portion sometime in future!
What a fantastic game. We had Watto starting memes and two grown men running to the postbox whilst not filming themselves on their phones. Loved it! My three favourite twerps, happy 2021 everyone!

Opinion given.
@@ThomasGiles Opinion received. Over
He'd have had to walk! Good opinion!
Would still be a debate over whether the moth (that grows on buildings) is actually an animal.
Big ifs.
Key's continued inability to comprehend what "animal" means is truly fascinating.
It's anything that's not a rock, or a tree
@@mertaksac9718 except birds and creatures, they're definitely not animals
I was surprised that he volunteered "ant" as an animal. Surely if a bird is a creature then an ant is a bug.

"Watto, who's more mental at the moment?" is maybe the sentence to sum up NMJ.
Hello! You're here as well!
@@una_10bananas Heyyy, you!
"a lot of people below the line [...] they've got opinions"
We sure have, and they're primarily about job gloves.
Tim's gradually intensifying laugh at the end is pure joy.
I loved it and I loved Alex's reaction to it. So sweet!
it's great to see key admit that you can, in fact, meet an animal ( 15:34 )

"You are three of my best friends," said the lonely fan to the guys above the line.
Watch it on full-screen, there is no line.

@@franksimon8375 What on earth are you talking about?
i personally think that every episode should end with a calm and collected debrief from mark. didn't mind it at all!
Watering can drinks, grumpy Key, awkward silence, Mark alone twice, and a race to mail winnings... proper silly game. Excellent!
"Happy new year to everyone, no matter your proximity to the line" said Philip hungoverdly
[mischievous laughing] is the best soundbite to encapsulate tim key in any NMJ game, i feel
Good to see Katherine Parkinson's chicken on Mark's 'shark' jumper.
NMJ is, when you really stop and think about it, the best thing to come out of 2020.
Yet.
Well, 2020 is over, when you think about it, but thank Jason NMJ is still here.
Raising a watering can to everyone BTL... have a good one!
I think you mean thank Alphonso Majestic
That bonus race footage at the end was brilliant.
5 minutes in: I feel like I was invited to a party and no one told me it was a murder mystery evening.
We’re nearly a year on, but this first All-Star Match is still an all-time classic.
Couldn't agree more.
Those giggles at the end are the perfect way to start the year.
I appreciate that this ended with a brief Watsonathon.
Never laughed so much at a video stopping recording at the end of this. Shakespearean.
9:44 my favourite thing in these games: Watto's physical awkwardness. Every time he moves his hands, it's a joy.
Key is clearly a man of the winter months, a machine in lower temperatures, I hope that Timothy can continue to not be pathetically useless at this game for 2021.
Just watched this one again, possibly the greatest ending of all of them!
'I mean I'm definitely out' he graciously concedes, after arguing 'CAN YOU SEE TEARS' for 2 minutes previously
Making a case for a future asterisk by his score perhaps :D

We've all done it.
Ahh glad to see this is yet another episode of Tim Key's fascinating animal facts. Happy he talked about my favorite animal: moss.
Without doubt one of the finest episodes.
Also, Horne appears to live in some sort of Gatsby-esque mansion!

stellar performance from watto there, that is prime no more jockeys, also very nice to have these little watto soliloquies i don't mind it
£87, $6, €5 and a top golf card all lost on a self bang bang, wonder if there is a photo of Key crying now

Key‘s laugh at the end has already made all of 2020 worth it, so I guess there’s that.

Incredible sportsmanship from the athletes at the end over

What a wholesome game this is.
Interesting to hear Key say he "met" a dog. Sounds like the Queen could meet a horse after all.
27:50 - Watto's Kate Winslet Oscar speech while being heckled by Key.
No More Jockeys goes surprisingly well with a glass of port and some cheese.... happy new year.
A special?! Thank you. Top lads, all 3 of you. Well, at least 2 of you for sure.
Corrrr thanks for this episode timing guys, this will see me through the critical first hungover hour of my year!

horne's interior house reveal with primarily a horne in the frame
As soon as Horne introduced the bang bang names I knew there was going to be a Tim vs Timothy argument down the line

This was such a treat/surprise - thank you!
Wow. What a pleasant welcome to the New Year.
@Matt Guts mused contentedly
When you really think about it, 2021 could have really used a Mert Aksac to kick off the year with a bang (said below the line)
Or a Penelope Pitstop.
Happy New Years from below the line and across the pond.
Only 30 seconds of fumble-fingered websearching on my phone to find Ms. Duval crying in The Shining. Good job. Gloves. Damn.
