The reason why the two performances are so close is that they play in semi-playback mode. While each musician play their parts in live, some overlays like piano and orchestra are still played during concerts, reason why their performance are nearly always as one the CD. This becomes evident when you listen to live versions of "Conviction Is The Source Of Humanity" (断罪は遍く人間の元に) for example.
