      Jigslinger's Fishing Channel thanks bud! It's still a little surreal to me that I finally made it in the 100lb club, let alone the 200lb club lol

    Guessing Capt. Evan got a new boat? That doesn't look like the Seahawk, too small and an outboard engine.

    Nice vid, but, sorry, I'm old school. A pelvic harness and knees to the rail is how it should be done. Might as well crank em up on a winch. THAT is sportfishing, NOT the pansy way. He's just sitting on his ass.

      William Young that's one opinion

    • @williamyoung3731
      @williamyoung3731 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. It is my opinion, and you should listen to advise from a conservationist and old school Fisherman. Sport Fishing to me is the lightest tackle with the largest fish. It's not a matter of "getting the fish", rather " Who wins". At that point, one can decide to either Catch , or Release. I prefer the latter, given that the animal has fought for his life valiantly and has lost, with the decision given to the Angler. Sportsmen will release. The idea of cranking em up is equivelent to trophy hunters, wanting only the Victory , and Victory only, rather than the satisfaction of knowing a fight done well to a Fish well deserved. Bent Rods, Tight Lines and Knees to the Rail provides a fairness to the Sport. Anything from that is Garbage.
