    This is one of those vids that is so satisfying to watch over and over. The mods WORK, the mod-er (you!) knows that they're doing, there's no annoying music or extraneous crap in the vid and it's just gun, disassemble, mod, assemble, shoot, show results. PS I hadn't realized you had so many vids on your channel. I clicked on "From Airsoft vs Everything" , and went 'Woah!" lol Now all I gotta do is find a shop here that stocks that Cybergun 1911. Just a note, spring power does not only depends on the wire diameter (thicker = stronger) but also spring diameter (smaller = stronger), distance between coils (further = better), and spring length/travel distance (smaller = stronger). The M135 spring has considerably thicker wire but its distance between coils is shorter than the original spring. This makes the new m135 spring not giving much better result.

    • @airsoftvseverything
      @airsoftvseverything  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With this spring I can reach around 480fps in my m24. So the small difference in this case is not the fault of the spring. Cylinder air volume is not that much. If I were able to put a m190 spring into the pistol, Im sure fps still would be under 350fps.

    modificar una pistola de spring es sencilla la verdad, si cuentas con resortes compatibles puedes modificar a tu gusto, pero acuerdate que las modificaciones en general se basan en:
    Potencia
    Cadencia
    Alcance
    Precisión
    Durabilidad
    Capacidad
    estirar el resorte mejora temporalmente la potencia mas no la durabilidad, conseguir un resorte menos fuerte aumenta la cadencia pero puede perder potencia y alcance, conseguir un resorte mas fuerte puede mejorar la potencia y alcance, pero puede afectar la durabilidad a largo plazo, estriar el cañon por interno es muy útil para mejorar su precisión y alcance...acuerdense que las replicas de airsoft en general son de ánima lisa en cuanto a cañon, estriarlo de forma parcial mejora su precisión y alcance y no afecta la durabilidad. Esto lo se ya que tuve una pistola M1911 de la marca Golden Eagle y ha sido una de mis mejores pistolas en partidas, su potencia de 300 FPS con bbs de 0.20 y cañon estriado parecia un sniper de bolsillo, una maravilla de pistola

      Nota:
      -no estriarlo por completo, el cañon se puede malograr.
      -el estriado es a medias, ya que la bb necesita algo de presión y algo de anima lisa, estriarla por completo debilita la potencia de la pistola
      -necesitarás aceite multi usos para lubricar el cañon de vez en cuando eso aumenta la velocidad de salida y de paso evita que se trabe.
      - siempre hazle una mejora a las miras de hierro a las pistolas de muelle, mejorara significativamente el apuntado, pintarlas con un corrector blanco siempre funciona.
      Revisa de vez en cuando el cilindro de la pistola, si se desgasta, te verás obligado a reforzarlo, asi prevenimos desgaste y mal funcionamiento de la pistola.

    Is there a reason why a very stiff spring alone is not feasible to launch a BB? Is it necessary to convert the spring energy to compressed air energy? Is there some law in physics that limits the speed at which a compressed spring can decompress? I'm imagining a device that is much stronger than a plastic gun housing, but I can't imagine why no one has done this. Do you know the answer?

    • @airsoftvseverything
      @airsoftvseverything  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      - How would you put a strong spring into the barrel which is 6mm in diameter?
      - How would you hold the BB in straight line when you fire the gun?
      - How would you spin the bb in front of the spring for 50-70meter range? (hopup effect)
      So yeah, its quite neccessary to convert the spring energy. Its not working only with the spring, that's why noone did this, and noone will do this.
      (I like your question tho, its great!)

    • @MrLBDude
      @MrLBDude 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@airsoftvseverything Thank you for your reply and insight. I have a crude idea that involves holding the bb in the breach of a free sliding barrel with weak magnets. The barrel and the bb will both launch forward as the attached spring decompresses. As the entire assembly stops suddenly, the bb’s inertia will overcome the magnetic resistance and carry it through the barrel. This is one idea that doesn’t account for the hopup effect. I expect it will launch but not very well. I’m going to post a drawing to my channel as I know that my description is inadequate. I was planning on experimenting with this before I asked you. Hi, brother. Something interesting would be the inclusion of a larger barrel. The volume of air produced inside the cylinder tends to be greater than the volume of air the barrel holds. This percentage of air that exceeds the volume of the barrel is expelled after the BBs exit. Incredibly, this extra air volume that is lost has greater compression power. I have a gun like that and I know there's no way to change the barrel, because the hop-up is fixed, but you can thread the outer barrel of the gun and attach a mock suppressor, it will certainly increase the FPS. Because with a larger barrel, the compressed air will be fully utilized.
